DAVID PROBABLY HIT THAT ON THE HEAD... IT PROBABLY STARTED AS A BOY SCOUT CAMP SONG... BUT WE SING THAT IN OUR GIRLS CAMP COMPLETE WITH A WHOLE SET OF MOTIONS. THIS IS PRETTY MUCH THE SONG, BUT HIS NAME IS BRUCE IN OUR SONG, AND IT ENDS WITH BRUCE BEING A STICKY MOOSE ON THE LOOSE...

I think the Girl Scouts alway come up with a nifty way of adding visuals to a tune!

Should we tell him what we call him?

I can hear Nola, "Now David".

At a minimum, a discussion point for the GC, and certainly a bit of blabbering for my Opening Ceremony.

David is my middle name, but since I am a IIId, my dad went by our first name so I was David. Now that Dad is gone, I am using my first name more often since it is on all my charge cards & etc.
However, I answer to my first name, middle name, hey you and a number of other things I can't really print on here...

I will say the moose rhyming became a bit 'obtuse'...

My daughter's GS troop had a couple of songs about bunnies (furry forest creature type)...one ended with a horrible pun.

Every time I go to town
The boys all kick my dog around
Even though he's just a hound
You better not kick my dog around!

Come on B l u u e,
You Good Dog You!

This was sung each morning while camping with my Scouts continuously till tent flaps were swung open and Scouts appeared. Even though I carry a perfect tune it seemed to hurry the boys up! He he!
