I've been cutting saplings too, & pulling grass from flower beds. Nice weather for it!! I work wherever the shade is, though, & often in the evening till I can't see what I'm doing any more.

No camping pics from us yet. Martin is offering our boat on Ebay, so is anxiously watching the watchers. Auction ends tomorrow afternoon, so maybe there'll be extra money for our trip to England in October. Or to spend in MI.

Cheers!
Not really, we don't ride in the afternoon much even on still days, thermals make it bumpy.

I can see if I can get some links for video that Bob has taken. later... he's not home yet.

The boat sold! Cash in our travel fund, space in the shed, & a load of guilt off our minds. We're too far from navigable water to use it much and hadn't.

Dave Koons (of Jne & Dave, that Dave. ) helped Martin through some technical issues by phone. Very helpful. Me, I offer that little extra muscle now & then, plus of course all the most brilliant ideas.

Celebrated with a glass of cream sherry. How very civilized is that!

Not the way Allen fly fishes unless you're a lefty. He casts side arm instead of overhead, so there's a 20 foot no go zone to his right. But eh, you two will make it work. Any trout in that thar lake?

Clora Mae, bless her little cotton socks, is doing the best she can, but a hole in the carburetor is a pretty significant hill to climb, isn't it? Tell ya what: I have a fresh pack of chewing gum you can have. What flavor would she like? DoubleSprint?
Yep a bit of a significant issue. The mechanic said it wasn't a bad hole, just enough to give Clora Mae a cough under load. But its enough to keep us from taking her any significant distance until we rebuild it. I'll take wint-o-green, please!

Hey, Monday to Friday at a GC is plenty of time for you both to become totally corrup...err, um ... mutated. We've had practice! A cabin is better than not being there at all, but beware: you can run, but ya know ya can't hide forever, & sooner or later ya gotta eat. Now there's a whole nuther topic!
Hahaha absolutely. I'm excited to meet everyone and that's all that counts. The journey is the destination.

I am looking forward to meeting Sena! Thanks for the suggestion! I'll have to pick your brain about other mischief preventing ideas while we're there.

No we dont have banners, but we keep discussing doing one.... maybe this GC we can design one....
Doesnt matter how you stay... you will be glad you came... these people are such AMAZING friends...
And we have fun too....
I actually like the homemade banner... But not opposed to a printed one, either.

Question: Do people display their RVM numbers when out camping in case other RVM's are also in the same CG?

Charlene, about your 'holey' carburetor:
If the hole is in the metal parts anywhere, dry it off and apply a dab of "JB Weld". If it's at a gasket on a seam, use a dab of Permatex #1. Or. bring the carb and rebuild kit to MI and I'll rebuild it for you (while not a professional mechanic, I have rebuilt several carbs in my time both at home and in someone else's driveway, and all have survived the ordeal and functioned more or less normally afterward including the Frankencarb I made out of 2 other not exactly the same model ones). There will surely be other shady...er, I mean shadetree mechanics there to either help or supervise...

Yep, seems Noah's Ark was found in Kentucky!

Anyone been to tour it?

You sit in the back tellin' stories, and I'll hold my shirt open. You'll produce a lot of hot wind to fill the shirt. While you're at it.....never mind.

I have 541 pictures pigeon holed of past RVMutant shenanigans. I'm not going to catorgorize them but just bulk include them on my web site. (Eventually) Yes, some duplicates but as Tim says, 'It is what it is, and then you screw it up.'

I'll send the link to the site by "other means" as I don't publish my site for the world to see.

That too! Love all "my" Doctors & most of his female partners. My first was the one w/ the long, long striped scarf.

A rally we attend every October in Elkhart, IN, always has a theme. This fall it will be Star Trek, Star Wars, & anything else "spacey" you wish.

I'm training Trekkie Tribbles for the event & Martin wants a tinfoil hat.
