Steve and Mary Ann, Nice rig.

Hope you both get to come down to our area again. That can definitely fit in the driveway with 50 amp and Water. Potty in the house or dump station (free) about 2 miles from the house.

Yep! In Mayo, FL. It's the first cemetery you come to with a traffic light.i
The important thing is we are with Di and Larry for 4 days and nights.
We went to the Mayo Cafe tonight and the hole in the wall had a buffet and hamburgers.

Sorry no PoP but will get some the next time.

Ezz Moose, you asked me by other means who was driving and my answer was "One of them." I need to say that I was correct, again, because as the pulled in Larry was behind the wheel.

Oops forgot the geography lesson

A blackwater river is a type of river with a slow-moving channel flowing through forested swamps or wetlands. As vegetation decays, tannins leach into the water, making a transparent, acidic water that is darkly stained, resembling tea or black coffee. Most major blackwater rivers are in the Amazon Basin and the Southern United States.

Good report Di, but in TX black water refers to the bath water when Wayne gets out.
I値l use it in a sentence . Earlene you want to take a bath, I値l leave you my blackwater!

Tim, please stop posting things like this. It is Earlene's request. She says her belly hurts from laughing so hard.

If laffin is good for healin, I'll be fine onc't I git up off'n this here floor! Blackwater do beat all.

So much on this thread recently I've read but not responded to -- lazy, self-absorbed, over-impressed -- whatever. I'll try to ketchup. Apologies if I miss SomeMutie.

Di & Co., I am totally impressed w/your decision to downsize, to "up sticks", as Martin says, & to move to where you need to be. How on earth you'll manage this is beyond my imagining, but I know you have the skill set & determination to git 'er done. Ommms on the whole proceeding!

Wayne & Co.: Doncha be wearing Di & Larry out, now, unless it's from laffin. I am dead jealous, you do know!

My kayak group paddled on some blackwater canals in FL. They are amazingly clear & clean, aren't they?

Tim, thank Mary for her comments on the Southern belle hat. My grandmother grew up in southern IL; does that count as credentials? It's where I learned to love ma grits, after all.

And yes, Dave, anyplace south of Chicago is south, near enough. Right direction, anyhow.

Sheesh & gosh darnit ... I forgot who else ....

Crumbs! It was Barb I forgot. How could I! That's on another medium, so I'll hop on over there to carry on. And on.
