At noon today I had my first trial on the nerve block for my back pain. I was pain free until about 2 PM. but then the lidocaine started wearing off I’m almost back to my normal afternoon level, which is pretty bad. I have to go thru another round of testing with lidocaine before they'll do something more permanent. That will hopefully be some time next month.
While I was still numb I crawled under the Moho to see where I could run a line for another solar panel. I'd been putting that off, but it was easy without pain. If only it had lasted a little longer.

You noticed that. Well, it makes it lot easier to scratch "behind" me.

Barb, you stop that. Don't so anything you cannot do when you are not on meds. You can really hurt yourself and not know it. Find someone to do the dirty work for you.

Barb I'm not sure solar panels under your Moho will be very useful!
Best of luck on your medication conversion!

Wayne, my pain doc told me to do normal activities to test this nerve block. All I did was lay down on the ground and scoot around on my back on a tarp. My plan B was to dig up a dead shrub, but it was 80* and humid so the laying down on the job sounded more inviting.
I MUST keep active or I'll lose mobility and gain weight. I enjoy "dirt therapy" and regularly do yard work and projects on the Moho.

Well, as things happen they happen to most of us if not all of us.
Today, making the transition out of Florida I-295 to I-95 a construction barricade barrel was knocked over by wind and rolled in front of me. It was about 10 feet in front of me and there was no way to avoid it. Made one heck of a sound when being dragged under the MH. Upon examination it was lodged just in front of the left side front wheel.
There was cosmetic damage to the lower front, pulled the left marker wire loose, and pushed the generator tailpipe backward.
Didn't know about the tailpipe until we had the generator going and made a turn. The tire rubbed against the tailpipe and made a grinding noise. I had just started the generator but turned it off when I heard the sound. I was able to pull the tailpipe away from the tire and that put the hanger, which did not break back in position. I'll still need to look under tomorrow for anything else before I call the insurance company.
Could have been worse. Earlene said that maybe we kept some youngster from swerving and causing serious injury.
Some pictures.
