Well, there's always the first one, right Wayne? Sorry to hear but glad to see it's really minor, they can probably buff that out, retouch with some paint and you'll be good to go...

Wonder why that thing wasn't weighted down to prevent that issue. Maybe talk to DOT about coverage???

Yeah, if the house batteries were easier to get to like yours, I wouldn’t have had to play under there.

The switch to Butrans has me a bit scared. The minor withdrawal I've experienced is NO fun. Pain doc said the Butrans would make me go thru some serious withdrawal. ya got any suggestions? He did say I could try CBD.

Man, look at all that paint damage in the second pic! It looks like somebody drew stumpy legs and feet with white socks and sneakers on the panel.

I once hit a construction pylon with the part of the coach right behind the cab door on the passenger side. It sailed about 25 feet and I was only doing about 35 mph. Sounded like I broke the side door off, but there was no damage to the RV. My shorts were a different matter.

Why do they put those things so close to where we must drive?

I'd sure try the CBD.

My friends here who use it say you can get various versions, as Di said, including "leaded or unleaded".

One women's sister, who has MS, likes to stay stoned, but it got her off some 20 different medications & she doesn't drive anyway. My friend herself finds that that makes her anxious, so she prefers the unleaded version, & she does drive.

Another friend has a massage therapist who recommended a CBD topical cream & then went online to buy it for her.

Personal experience? None to date. My nerve pain is under good control with lecithin, so I'm not messin with it.

I'm sorry the trial didn't have lasting effect & that you have to wait for the next one before they do anything more. It is logical, but tough on you to see that light at the end of the tunnel but not be able to get there fast enough. Ommms continue!

Wayne and Earlene, sheesh I'm glad you guys are okay!

Steve, thanks for posting the photos of the midi-c. We sure enjoyed meeting everyone and chatting. Jackie, I hope this get together filled your tank! Thanks for suggesting it.

Barb, I like Sue's advice. If you're planning to still be "present", its probably better to get the unleaded version.

Prayers for Duane, how's he doing?

Charlene

So yesterday on our way home from the midi, we stopped at our mechanic to see how Clora Mae is doing.

They replaced the seals and a whatsit in the carburetor and that took care of allot of the backfiring, but its still popping at load, so they're gonna be checking the fuel pressure next. These are good guys and she's in good hands. Mechanic says she's a great old bird and engine really is otherwise in great shape. That made me happy.

i pulled over to the side of the ramp and there were some small pylons there. ood thing as the edge of the road was right there, the right front tire just on the pavement and the ground was mushy from rain. A construction worker came to us and he actually is the one that laid on the ground and pulled the barrel out. I'm ot sure I could have done it, but maybe with Earlene helping.
I made a statement that those barrels should be weighted down and he stated that they are but a truck hit that barrel and pulled the bottom weight off.

Those weights are just heavy rings that they slip down over the barrel.

Hey y'all, I don't do Facebook where useless information is shared with people you don't know.

However, Earlene does and she told me there were a lot of wishes on there.

So thank you.

Now if Time could just do a wish.
