The older eggs are better for hard-boiling anyway.

Well-spotted!

Carl I know some Docs that are quacks, if that'll help!

Sorry, that's all I got.

Good news alert!

I have lost the remote that controls the volume to my hearing aids! Mary normally keeps it close to her, for some reason, but neither of us have seen it in weeks. So what does that mean? I want be listening to all the yaking at the FEUMIGC, so if you see me laughing and nodding and shaking my head, well, well, I'm faking it! It's going to be a blast!

True story - either last August (prep'g to leave to Oregon) or last November (leaving for FL), I lost a favorite Craftsman LED flashlight I got for a Christmas gift. After searching for months, gave up.

Last night, I went out to the RV to check on things and saw this light on the ground near the rear tire. I said WTH and walked over to investigate. I leaned down and grabbed what was clearly a light and lo-and-behold, the flashlight I lost was buried in the grass that I just cut that day (yesterday) and I must have turned it on walking/mowing over it.

I was amazed for a number of reasons, one of which it was still working! Couldn't believe it but happy I have it back. Gotta clean it obviously but this thing survived a wicked winter up here and still works!

Congrats, Carl! You might want to write the manufacturer and tell them your story. They might pay you for the story and send you a brand new flashlight. That's quite a testament of the product's quality.

Wow, two mutants, two flashlight stories, it sounds like a conspiracy!

It’s true!
I searched the internet and Snopes says it really happened. Only catch was that it was an ACME flashlight and it belonged to Yosemite Sam.
Carl, you must have a tall lawn after mowing!
Tim, I got new hearing aids this year, and and can hear you giggle each time you lie.

If you are nodding and shaking you head, we know where Mary's hand is. We all know she pulls the strings.
