Thank you for the welcome!! I had seen the mutant postings since the beginning of time, but passed them over because I thought that they were going the other way -- those who decked out their rigs with everything imaginable. I'm sure that I have much company in excusing them until they see the light and, um, mature.

I'm Steve (papasteve) and my caretaker is Mary Ann RVMs 5 and 5A. We're hosting the FEUMGC. That mean's we've secured the site and invited you all to the affair. We have attended, more or less, 8 or the 10 GCs. Every single one has been a blessing to our lifestyle. Again, WELCOME
Thank you!! I would dearly love to attend. I am originally from Michigan, and still keep in touch with friends there, and had hoped to be able to get back there this summer to see them. I had planned on taking the northern route, which would have put me smack in to middle of the GC, but it is looking less and less likely that I will be able to make it. Bummer! An old proverb says "May you live in interesting times." I think that I qualify.

Speaking of lights ... we do seem to have a thing about rope lights, or ropus lightus, as I've heard the malady called. Important in the desert to repel packrats, but otherwise ... debatable. [emoji57]

It will be sad not to meet you this time, but there will be other GCs & sooner or later you'll be able to catch one. We try, but nobody can get to every single curiosity. Minis & midis, now, can be arranged with whoever is nearby or passing through your area. Definitely a Random Thing!

Cheers!
Sue

Yep! Welcome to the RVMutant group. As for the decorating of MH's there only seems to be one that does that. He has this odd collection stuck up in his windshield. I tell you, it is Redneck form the Arkie get-go.

I don't have a picture at this time but I'll bet someone does.

Poor Richard, being talked about like that, you should be ashamed.

R U an RV Mutant too?

I have seen the scene, and it remains to be seen whether Tim’s Trophies should be seen, in that they have been on the scene and seen several times, and those that saw the scene may not want to see the scene.

That is almost obscene!

The only trophies that come to mind are:

1. His new truck.

& by far the best:

2. His Trophy Wife Mary!!

We are riding the rainbow the last couple weeks. Montana South Dakota North Dakota and back up into Manitoba tomorrow.
Went to see Mt Rushmore and it was awesome. Rapid City has lots to see and do but we could not get an RV Park as they were all booked up for some weekend event. That is what we get for flying by the seat of our pants.
We were short on time across the border because of health insurance plan only covers DW for 9 days at a time.
Would like to go back again sometime.
Our new to us old rig has been pretty good considering the hot weather. A couple small glitches but easy to deal with.
I may be an RV tech with some of the experience I am getting.

That's right. And here I have a permanent limit with my right hand to 10 lbs always. So much for that limit when things have to be moved. Getting ready to start painting tomorrow. Two bedrooms and a hall left.
