It looks like we have an addition to the RVM Lexicon - Homz

How shall we define it? Good wishes and prayers directed to Mutant sticks and bricks, including buying, repairs and sales?

Homz to Di and Larry and Dennis and Denise. Here's hoping those gems are snatched up ASAP by lucky and smart buyers.

Homz is where the feet are. Could be a rolling Homz or a stationary Homz.

Best laid plans of mice and men often go astray

When we were in Myrtle Beach we had a slide problem. We have two electric slides and one hydraulic slide. One of the electric slides is a Schwintek and one is a PowerGear with both using Schwintex controllers.

The PowerGear slide is acting up. In Myrtle Beach, Camping Connecrtions an LCI authorized dealer came out to the MH and identified it as a "memory" problem in that the motors got out of sync and the controller would not work properly until the controller was reset and motors re-synced. A simple process requiring a few tries by pushing a few buttons. I don't want to bore you any more than I am.

The slide worked for a couple overnight stays and when we got here to Fort Belvoir it acted up again. So where am I going with this?

I have called every service center and mobile repair with in a couple hundred miles and they are all booked up for several weeks, some as far out as the end of September. Many languages have a word for it - SUCKS. Not only that but many CG's are booked up because of summer vacations for the kiddies. We made reservations for this trip up through the middle of August and we are now having to cancel some of them. Unfortunately some do not provide a refund up cancellation. We made a one night reservation for tomorrow night and there policy is to give a credit for another camping night in 2018. Like I really want to go back to the Scranton, PA area.

Our possible trek now is Elkhart, IN., and the Lippert plant. I am awaiting a call back from them on scheduling. If we go to Elkhart then the GC would still possibly be on, but if we cannot get in reasonably soon it is back to Texas and make arrangements to get it in locally. Time will tell.

English word is: SUCKS

If you can't get into the place you want in Elkhart, give Master Tech RV a call, I've been using them for 5 years and their work is wonderful ... I hope to see you two in Michigan.

You're saying the full wall is acting up? That's strange. Sorry about your troubles, that does suck!
Keep us posted Wayne, hope things work out. I'd like to know what's up, since we have the same coach essentially.

OOOOPPPS, I forgot we need to send Homezzz to Deb and Dale, also. They are the 3rd couple in sell the S&B mode. They are also preparing for fulltime Rainbow riding.

Not the full slide, the kitchen side. This MH has a kitchen slide and bedroom slide on the passenger side. The kitchen slide contains the J-Couch, kitchen counters, sink, MW and DW (not dear wife). Bedroom slide has just the bed

Full wall slide is on the driver side, has the TV, recliner, refrigerator and bedroom closets and vanity.

Still waiting to hear from Lippert.
