Four mutants, who originally were coming, haven't chimed in since a month ago or so.

My hope is that some mutants I haven't heard from are intending to attend and will surprise all of us.
It is not new news but we will not be able to make it there either. Maybe next time. I hope everyone has a blast!!

Dave, has Nola noticed how much more color the world has yet? Cataracts steal vision, but they also steal color from what you can see. I'm glad to hear her first eye is revitalized. My eyes were done 2 weeks apart. Her doc must be very busy or extra cautious to make her wait so long.

So, not to be outdone apparently, Martin went on a buying spree for the kitchen. Wayne will be pleased to note that one of his purchases is an air fryer that tilts. The other small thing, in charming aqua, is an egg cooker.

Both work quite well, but note the large coffee mug placed there for scale. It isn't enough that we already have an Instant Pot and a sous vide w/ large pot. Who needs an oven? Who needs a stovetop? Who needs any counter space?! Aaack!

The oven is a very important part of our camper, it's where we store the can goods.

Sara gave me the horn, literally. I'm not going to repeat the conversation or antics that followed but we were busting a gut. That is until I tossed it at her and said, "Bird."

Oh boy! Some fried pickles should be on the list of "to cook."

We just took along the Instant Pot and the Ninja cooker. I do have all the ingredients for Clam Chowder. Now if y'all do the same we can feed the crowd.

Where in the world do you store all that stuff. Do you have an oven like Tim?

FEUMGC update

I called Mackinaw Mill Creek Campground this morning and asked for the names of those Mutants that have reserved a site for our GC.

Here's the names they gave me:

Grifford
Miner
Miller
Hrezo
Wohlford
Freeman
McCarville
Cutter
Williams
Chappelle
Guy
Culver (Wohlford's friends from Indiana)
Kopfman, Joe
Dutcher
Bowman

If their list doesn't seem correct to you, call the cg and straighten it out AND then call me or communicate that info to me in some other way.

This is the list of attendees that I'm going with until we show up in Michigan.

Hi Sis!

I erred. It’s September 10. She has 3 follow ups after that until October 4. He is an EXTREMELY busy specialist and this is the best schedule we could get. The rt eye had very special issues and this doc does it all!

YES! The rt eye has clear vision and the colors are Jumping out at her! Nola and I are superbly happy.

Good news on the right eye. October 10 hmmmmmmmm. Sounds like a surprise in Michigan could be possible. Or am I dreaming???

Nobody is more disappointed than Nola and me!

Please keep an eye on the “usual suspects” and take entirely too many Mutated pics.

We removed it so my wife has a place for her sewing machine.

I have a reservation there. She was pretty snippy with me, when I tried to reserve a non-electric tent site, and in general. Insisted that I had to stay at a 20 amp site. I reluctantly agreed. Anyway, I wrote to them, and tried to make sure that I am parked near ya'll, and on the Mutant list. Will report back when I hear from them.

Be on the lookout for the Blupmobile.
