I did some research and found out that the throttle body is likely gunked up. Yay! A repair that I can handle solo! Rpm’s had a bit of sluggishness when I started to town, but soon was doing fair. Made it to town. Two stores later found the proper cleaner. Filled her up with high test and sailed home. Rpm’s normal idle now, but still a bit rough. Will let you know what miracles transpire.. At any rate love this spot to regroup. Splendid weather. Ohms to the traveling folks, and those just generally needing some. Happy trails!

Imagine Wayne, in Road Runner (pun intended) cartoon style, running beside the car with his finger on the valve stem. Then imagine the look on Earlene's face as she starts driving. How fast do you think she'd drive?

Just out of curiosity just how do storage bays on full basement motor-homes suddenly shrink in size as one tries filling them up with all of DWs essentials.

I ain't got one thing of mine in there and there is almost no room left; do we have lexicon for that?.

I cudda sworn that thing we just bought had way too much room and we would have to buy stuff to bring along, justa filler up. I guess all the stuff I need will have to be done via towed travel.

Some do use a trailer for the toad which adds storage for your stuff.
I get to decide what goes in basement storage and Jackie gets the inside storage.
I find milk crates in one bay keeps it organized.

Superman's speed has nothing on how vast SHE would drive and be cackling all the time.

I use plastic storage boxes and they are stackable. Last MH I even made an inventory.

I was allocated 2 small drawers & 2 large drawers... What do I find as I am packing???

Yes, she has already filled the 2 large - about half full with her stuff...

Oh, almost forgot, I still have the overhead storage over my side of bed & over the driver wheel...

BUT, I am not complaining !!! Just stating facts..

Realistically, looks like Friday, the 14th, launch, for a slow-roll for 3 nights to arrive Monday, the 17th... I think Ann can tolerate that pace... Still have to take it easy, but latest Dr. appointments have been great news...

Ohmmmmsss always appreciated for us, but maybe more important, for light traffic & the other drivers on the road to "Stay Outta Our Way"... In my experience its always the other guy...
Travel safe, the fun has begun!

I bring first aid, meds, rubbing alcohol, peroxide, neosporin. I buy tiny everything. Still downsizing from the downsizing...

I minimize toiletries and cleaning supplies too. Tiny spray bottle of diy cleaner/window cleaner, vinegar, dawn. I cut rolls of paper towel in half. A lot of times a 1/4 sheet is what I need, easier to store in a cupboard.

Lots of undies and wash clothes. One light jacket, one heavy, a rain poncho. Sandals, walking shoes, boots. 2 jeans. Lots of shorts.

One tool kit.

No need to stock up on anything but meds.

Walmart’s everywhere.

Tomorrow we load & Saturday we roll. I am so looking forward to seeing mutants we haven't seen for a long time and mutants we haven't met yet.

I have a surprise for the campfire, plans for cooking over said fire, & at least one mutant game to offer (and a prize!)

No fair y'all having all the fun before we get there Sunday, now. Save some for us!
