If it still exists (Google is becoming a joke) try the Depot for an evening meal.

Been a while since I was there but way back then the food was fabulous.

Enjoy your stay.

Cue Willie Nelson! We hit the road just after 9 CDT this morning, planning our 1 pm arrival at Mill Creek for tomorrow.

The cat who regularly celebrates our takeoff w/ an upchuck (sorry, Chuck!) has duly declared our departure. That makes it official.

Welcome to my neighborhood.
A refresher,we live 50 miles S. of Mac City on Black Lake and we just quit RVing this year.
At the end of the rainbow is a pot of gold. We have lived in that pot of gold for over 20 years and rode the rainbow for 22 winters.
If you have a full rainbow there is a pot of gold at each end. We found the other end,for us, in Sierra Vista,AZ. We bought a Winter home there and will spend 6 months at each golden place.
If you want some hidden gems to visit within a hours drive just post here.I can give you farther away ideas also. I get email notice every morning from you jabbering muties. I lurk and dont' respond on the phone app. I don't like it, and I seldom make myself sit at this pooter.

You should certainly make an effort to drive up and meet this crew of mutants sometime this week. Great folks!

I second that suggestion. Meeting Muties in person is a life altering experience. If you think they are chatty online... well, just wait until you're there.

muties

We had a small dose of mutants in Las Cruces this Winter. Martin and Sue.
Any chance that's why we quit?

Opiates, taken long term, are a Dr Jeykell and Mr Hyde type experience Please y'all, stay away from them if at all possible.
Not a cure-all, but get some magnsium oil spray and put that on your legs... When one of my sons was quitting Meth, it helped with his muscle spasms....

I cudda sworn that thing we just bought had way too much room and we would have to buy stuff to bring along, justa filler up. I guess all the stuff I need will have to be done via towed travel.
It won't matter where you put it, you'll have to be the one to go fetch it or hunt for it anyway... just sayin...
