As for the Texas GC, we really need to look into a park that can meet our needs. I'd like one with a rally room and there are several "in Texas," but not necessarily in Galveston. Once you ride Seawall Blvd and walk The Strand, there isn't much to do in Galveston. However we will check into availability and pricing when we get back.

Speaking of weight loss... I am taking a poll: My new smaller jeans won’t stay up now. Should I employ a hillbilly rope belt, or a bungee cord?

We won’t want to be on the coast due to Spring Break. How about someplace in the Hill country?

I'm hoping for the first week in April. That should be when AZ is getting too hot and Texas is still pleasant. I’d love to be there when the bluebonnets are in bloom, which is mid March thru April.
