If you look at the sign-up page I have added a list of places to see in the sticky. There are a lot of them and most likely a lot more. We won't be able to see them all but i'm guessing we can break up into groups that want to see one or the other.

As we get closer to a full contingent we'll look at a meal sign up. I forgot who suggested it so if you want credit, speak up. I think it was one of the Mary's.

The suggestion was that for the pot luck (two of them) let half the attendees cook for themselves and the other half. Then switch for the next pot luck.

It is just an idea so pipe up and give some suggestions.

Looks like this Wayne fellow is shooting for the Mutant Wagonmaster Award. Another Major Award!

I totally agree, I am surrounded by angels taking care of me, and my humor and zest of life and glamping, hasn't diminished. OK I will contact you on the RVM 2site

Good Morning mutants, I've been hanging out with Carl too much. Yesterday we departed the GC at 9AM eastern and stopped finally at 10PM eastern. Had planned a 12 hour day but a 1 hour delay due to a wreck in a construction zone cost us an additional hour! Home by this afternoon!

Small world, Jackies posted on FB their location at about the same time we stopped for fuel in that small community.

Later

You just have to get back to find out what's lurking in that envelope.

I thought I felt a Strong Wind briefly as you passed by us!

Maybe a little late to wish you safe travels. But that goes without saying to all our Mutant friends!

If it was Mary's idea, we love the idea! 2 pot lucks & half the cooking.

Now if it was your idea, I won't repeat what Ann said. But it was favorable.

You must have put it on cruise control while you napped.

Happy to hear the chariot got you home safely. You should have come our way. I know you miss me,.

Speaking of pots, are you challenging my title? We'll have to get you and Tim together at the next GC and have a contest.

It's like decompression, the days following a GC. Where's my tribe gone?!

Next time, I'll bring that map & let those who want to put a mark where they are headed next. The dispersal pattern should be interesting.

Martin already posted a pic of our location at Ludington (Poncho's Pond ... thanks to the Miners' suggestion) yesterday, so I will post our lunch spot south of Charlevoix. Saw several of these easy pull-offs along that route, all bordering the lake.

I had campfire withdrawal symptoms, so built fires both nights. The first night was a one-match start. Last night it was sprinkling, but I'm a hard-headed camper, & decided to make fire anyhow. It was a 4-match start, but no Girl-Scout juice. And yes, I got a bit damp & had plenty of smoke to keep the skeeters at bay.

It was lovely, but almost too quiet! No mutants! Tonight I'ma gonna cook me a supper out there. Might not drop any of it into the coals, either, for a change.

Thanks again to all who made this GC memorable. For venue, for firewood & fire tending, for food & plates & tableware, for stories & for laughs galore.

Let's do this again! I'll help where I can. Click image for larger version

Geez Tim, we all think Carl is nuts for driving like that. Are you trying to usurp his title? Where's the fire?
