Richard I know a man with a team of mules that are practically stuck proof! Should I call him?

We had a very helpful man stopped, asked how he could help?

I asked him to get a shovel for my grave cause Queen Ann was gonna kill me...

Truck got tractor out... RV got the Truck out... Sorry no pictures...

I gotta figure out how to get the RV out now, luckily I kept it on the pavement!!!

Returned to mowing, avoiding the WET part...

ONLY in Arkansas I’d love to see the video.

Edit:

Newly empowered, newly emboldened, I drove an hour & a half today. There was the usual highway stuff & then there was the Hobart area (hi & happy belated birthday, Ed!) Can you say heavy traffic?

I felt like a 16-year old in drivers' ed again. Because my tendency is to drift
toward the right, Martin got the joy of the rumble strips ... a lot.

But less & less. I won't have another chance until November, but must keep it up. I be cool!

Dennis and Irene, I mentioned on the phone I would send the Motorhome Towing Guide so here is the link, just a little later.

Clear the roads: I'll have to practice tomorrow!
Woot woot! Congratulations Sue.

I have these visions. On is Richard saying to Ann, "Here, hold my beer and watch this."

We now have 18 confirmed and 3 tentative. Two of the tentative just can't get in contact with Fran who handles the rallies at Miller Creek. She will be in on Tuesday so call early in the morning.

Hi there, EZ. We are towing our 2014 Chevy Captiva with a 4 cyl engine and auto transmission. It is approved by GM to tow up to 65 MPH. Stop every 2 to 3 hours and start the engine, put it in drive, reverse and neutral a few times to lubricate the gears and you are good to go.

The Terrain is a minor label change from the Equinox and Captiva..

We like ours, and had looked at the Terrain; we found the Chevy cheaper, but the Terrain was nicer.

Tom

Thanks for the input. We got a 2013 today and will be having the base plate installed by the dealership where we purchased the car.

I will install a homemade system similar to Bulb and Socket Tail Light Wiring Kit | Blue Ox | Blue Ox but with about an 80% savings by buying over the counter parts and building it up myself.

Morning, Dennis,

Good choice on the car. I also recommend the NSA brake system. It uses the a cable to pull the car's brake pedal to stop the car. It works really well and adds only one hook-up (the cable) when getting ready to go. The unit goes between the hitch and the tow bar. Dead simple and reliable.

Thanks again Tom. That is like the system Barb uses and she likes it too. I have the electronic system that works via WIFI between the vehicles and with the cash we are spending I will refrain from buying any more expensive stuff until I can rally the bank account.
