Some interesting photos I found on my phone as I was deleting them. The first is NOT in the UK, it's in Cedar City, Utah. I never did figure out why they decided to reroute the traffic there to the left side of the street, but only at that overpass.

The second I saw today in Yakima, WA.

Barb,
I forget what that's called but it's a new design for interchanges that eliminates having to make left turns across oncoming traffic. Supposed to eliminate a common cause of accidents at highway interchanges. I've seen 3 or 4 of them now.

Dave, stop by if you want. They have great Southern cooking, and hospitality in this area.
Besides, the more the merrier. And we are headed in the same direction,
sorta.

Be careful all. Drive safely on the rainbow.

Here today in TX (next to LA) it was 89 or so. Thursday it starts to cool down with the high of 82˚. Then we go into the 70's.

Irene and I are planning on eating at the original location in Texas City.

We were told that, like Walmart, they allow parking overnight too.

Yep and at the Texas City site they have a lady that will hula dance you right into your parking spot!

It just seems wrong! But if it saves life and property, I guess it's progress. I wonder how many drunk drivers and confused old timers take the wrong lane?

Final packing today for the flight out tomorrow to Heathrow. We may be out of touch again for a while, as roaming charges would be a bear. Pics will keep, however, for later sharing.

Ommms & Slalommmms to those who need them.

Somewhere, somehow prior to the spot you took your picture somebody has to cross over to get to the other side. I hear a chicken question coming.
