Hello Mutants.
Mark & Carole
Do you realize that only 219 miles from you there are currently 2 RVMs parked near Quartzsite, AZ. Many more will be heading this way and to Yuma in the coming months.

Sadly, I can’t travel into your state because of the lousy exotic animal laws, but I'll buy the pizza if you want to come this way.

Forgive my lousy memory if you've already answered this, Ed. Are you staying in an RV park or joining us hearty souls boondocking in the desert? There's plenty of room now, but it gets a bit crazy in January when the big RV show is in town. I have about .5 acre now, but can add more room now. It will be RVMville, desert style!

Without getting seen as not too politically incorrect I guess we can say we will be circling the wagons for a while.

Yep! And more wagon = more fun.

To say living that with Sena is a new adventure everyday is an understatement. We have been besieged by flies here. During daylight hours they are numerous and a constant annoyance.

It so happens that Sena likes to eat flies and can catch them right out of the air. There are more flies in the RV than she has the patience to catch, so I put out some fly paper to catch them. Of course, she is responsible for letting most of them inside the RV.

She likes the windows and screens open so that she can be inside or out. If I close the screen, she'll look at me as if she's saying, "but I want it open" and promptly slide the screen aside and go outside. Try as I have for years, I can not convince her to close them.

Today I was working on a project outside. Sena was coming out to inspect and then bounding back inside. At one point I heard an unfamiliar crashing sound and walked over to look inside. Sena was sitting on the counter delicately plucking a stuck but not yet dead fly off the sticky ribbon of flypaper that moments before had been hanging from the ceiling.

I ask, "what are you doing?" And she looks up quickly and returns to eating. Once that one was consumed she looks up again and chatters at me in a very non challant manner as if she's thanking me for the all you can eat fly buffet.

A special thanks for the link on the Bacon Butty. I have wanted one...... ('cause I knew it had to be good, bordering on a religious experience).....and besides, it was Onslow's favorite on Keeping Up Appearances!

A little movie was just playing in my mind of Sena's fly catching/eating operation Barb. Funny stuff!

I thought Barb was going to say she found Sena stuck to the fly paper like Pluto in the old Disney cartoon...

At the Renaissance hotel, Heathrow, alongside runway 27R.
For some reason, they upgraded us to a two room suite.
Hopefully this won't develop into a real problem but attempts to check in on line with BA produce a message saying no can do because "we are still awaiting authorisation for you to travel from the US government". DD suggests that Uncle Sam has been listening to Alexa! Will find out later at the check in desk if we have become unwelcome aliens.

The front entrance to the park. Too cloudy the last couple of days to get decent site shots.

The wonder mutt posing for a local newspaper reporter, wanted everyone to see her good side.

Rest easy mutants, there is one less potential deadly deer-auto collision. One of these potentially deadly critters is locked away in the big chiller! Drive safely mutants!
