Only you would have a waterbed in a motorhome.

Stray, Marty? A bit of a Freudian slip? I imagine all deer hunters do a bit of straying in the woods.

Happy hunting, Jeff!

Just for the edification of youse guys down south we awoke to 5C (41F) outside this morning. Bright sunny sky and no wind, but just a tad on the coolish side. Will be a lot happier when we start the trek south. There must be a Salmon run happening in the area as boats in the marina were firing up starting about 4:30ish. I hope that they all have a successful day fishing. We were out for a walk yesterday and came across Cougar tracks along the hiking trail.

Settled in for the night a little north of Ocala FL. Had some rain on the way but managed to do utility hookups between showers. Rest tomorrow, travel more Saturday. I'm on here about every night, just don't have a lot to say.
Carol's brother was Air Force so he got a military cemetery service. We got lined up, ushered in to the (outdoor) chapel, the honor guard marched in the casket, folded the flag, fired the 21-gun (9, actually, 3 rounds of 3 rifles) salute, the minister did a brief service, they presented the flag and we got promptly ushered out so they could do the next one. Almost like an assembly line (no disrespect meant to any service branch but it really felt rushed - are they all like that?). Second surprise - the funeral home brought the casket in a service van instead of a hearse (maybe it was an extra charge?). As we were leaving, we saw one of the next services lining up, had to be close to a hundred cars. Bet they didn't get that service done 'promptly'...

Busy busy busy, deer season opens tomorrow, thanksgiving not far away and Christmas just around the corner. Oh, add to that, weather in the 20s already.

So time to get things done, wood box loaded, 10 lbs gone getting me ready for deer camp meals as well as thanksgiving so that leaves Christmas. Now I just have to decide, what's the best gift for Jackie and Ed. Do I get them a stool to help them up on their new bed OR helmets to guard their heads from the neighboring cabinets? Decision decisions!

Later Muties , I'm headed to the woods!

Goood morning, Mutantdom! My apologies for not holding up my end of the conversation. Like my kindergarten report card said: "Could try harder."

Ketchup first & then I'll be back.

Lucky you! 🤩
