Just a funny observation. DIL, the one that lives next door, had some surgery. Her mother came to stay with her over the weekend to help with the GD. The mother, looking out their kitchen window past our chicken coop toward our house ask a simple question. Is Ms Mary gone to work while Mr Tim's gone hunting? I see she has a red light on.

We have a red heat lamp that comes on to keep the chickens water from freezing. Funny combination of question and statement. For the record, I'm the one that went back to w^*k.

Good morning Muties !

Earlene, stand up and take a bow as we all know the old codger was not all that involved

Actually when you posted this Wayne I got to thinking that we Mutants have quite an honour roll list of offspring and offspring- offspring achievements happening. The list of achievers (doctors, lawyers, teachers, nurses etc) is outstanding and must be part of the Mutant makeup. So whatever we have been doing most of our lives seems to be the correct things to have been done.

Little bit of trouble in Mutant Land. We will be at Conroe Lake campground for
at least another week. Our transmission stopped working. Towed it to a good
repair place. Now we wait.

Also, freezing again tonight, down to 31 degrees.

Ooms and prayers for those in the California fires..
Be safe all ya'll.

Actually Dennis we have always said that we know who there father is but no idea who their mother is.

Yep, one son a lawyer (don't hold it against him) and retired USMC Colonel, the other a Police Dispatcher. The RV Mutant community does have a good history of achievers.
