Welcome Marjoa, I'm quite certain you've more than satisfied the grueling requirements and testing criteria. Someone with more mutant powers than I will provide you with a new, coveted RVM #. If you can be in Texas next April, you can even meet some of us face to face (well, that may not be desired after saying that but we have another gathering coming up then).

It's like a server asking, "How do you want your steak?" The answer is kept very simple, "Shoot it, slap it, serve it!" KISS!

Martin and Joanie,
Welcome to the miscreants, AKA RVMutants.

Regardless of how I have treated you in the past just remember that I am the smart, nice, affectionate and lovable one on this thread. Everyone loves me (after they get over the insults.) So when you get initiated and receive the alternate means of communications, be sure to ask me for my theme song. Y'all will love it.

p.s., we live in Texas City so if you get back to the home base give a holler and maybe we can meet half way for lunch, if you are buying.

(I learned in the ARMY to go the 2nd and 3rd mile)

1) Name something your rig doesn't have that you don't miss
So our MH also doesn't have...and we don't ever need again or miss them
• 2,000sq. ft. of living space
• yard tools
• cable TV
• instant hot water
• anything glass
• granite counter tops
• 55" TV
• we don't have other places for people to sleep
• no permanent residence
• and...drum roll please......we don't have any idea where anything is anymore. We live out of plastic bins.

2) Make the declaration that "The Journey is the Destination"
OK here it goes...
Joanie & I do SOLEMNLY SWEAR that "The Journey IS the Destination".

We'll wait for the results that will be posted online.....

Well, well, another vic..... um RV Mutant is added to the fold!
Welcome Martin and Joanie, you are from here on RV Mutants, and if Di confirms my flawless memory on the Official RVM Lust, are RV Mutant 181.
All that remains is your RVM Initiation Rites. And I get to bestow that honor (hee-hee).
Go at em, Muties!

Welcome Martin and Joanie, tell us a little about yourselves and keep in mind everything to tell us will most likely be used against you!

Do look at your chalender, the April GC (rally) will be a great opportunity to find the truth out about many of the regular mutants that appear here. Not to mention it's cheap and fun!

Martin and Joanie, all I can say is you asked to join.

A group of us are getting together in Quatzsite in January as a preamble to the Texas GC in April so hopefully you can be at one or both. I need someone new to pick on as Tin, Wayne, Dave, Dave, Carl, Martin et al are getting boring.

Bev works as a volunteer in the welcome center. The only real change is that the welcome centers will close so no one can buy a permit to camp here, but the gates don’t close so they'll get free camping until congress gets it's act together. Also, there won’t be any rangers patrolling. Quartzsite police will answer any emergency calls. The trash pickup is on a paid contract so it will continue. So basically for us, no real change. Bev will get tomorrow off.

When it opens up again permits will go back on sale and the assistant rangers will send those without permits to buy them. The welcome center will hear a lot of grumbling. Sorry Bev

It shut down last year and the trash piled up around the dumpsters. They fixed that so it wouldn’t happen again.
