Great picture of all of you and a nice turnout!!! Wish Janice and I could have been there to be and meet you all, however I have an 8 AM with the oncologist tomorrow morning and it would have just been to long of a drive back to HB, CA for that morning appointment.

Wow! Our Grand Poohbah said it so eloquently that I have nothing to add. Watch out oh Master of Lucuidity, your title may be in jeopardy.

I think Iíd just made a diaper dash to the car before that pic was taken. I donít feel sunburned.

I used to turn beet red after 20 minutes in the sun. Then about 15 years ago my freckles got numerous and large enough that I started to tan, not blister. I donít wear sunscreen due to contact dermatitis with every brand Iíve tried, even the stuff for babies. Last year I went to a dermatologist for a routine skin cancer screening. The Doc said, "Looks great, keep doing what you're doing." So I only where a ball cap to protect my sparsely haired noggin.

Richard I may need to come over and borrow your Cubit ruler. I think I need to build a boat. A big boat! And the blueprints are all in cubits!

Let me translate for everyone else, it's raining in Arkansas. A lot!

We don't need a ruler... Just assume a cubit is a foot & this will reduce the length of your boat to about 250 feet long, just right for our RV's.

If you have a calculator, the following are estimates of a cubit length, just cipher it...

The actual length of a cubit varied between different ancient groups of people. Here are some samples from Egypt, Babylon, and ancient Israel:
Hebrew
17.5 in
Egyptian
17.6 in
Babylonian Long
19.8 in
Hebrew Long
est. 20.4 in
Egyptian Long
20.6 in

Did I impress you with my knowledge???

Now, just think if we were in Seattle, with 14" of SN@W.. Ouch..

BTW, it took Noah about 100 years to build it, don't you think we will all be drowned by then... You should have started earlier...

How many can your fishing boat hold??
