A note to the Muties who were helping me paint Connie, my new to me 40’ shipping container. The highway side and the end are now sporting a lovely new color - desert sand. At least that's the name on the side of the bucket. Be assured it's not the sand we all walked on.
It will take a second coat of color before she'll be beautiful, but the first coat is going on SO much easier and faster than the initial coat of white y'all put on her. At least all of the original poopy brown and lettering is gone.
Thanks again for the help. I ended up with extra tools. Anyone want theirs back?

We brought some painting stuff but you can keep it, got plenty stored back in Indy & nothing to paint since we're full timing & 'houseless' anyway. (I might borrow back a roller & tray next winter when it's time to put more Thompson's Water Seal on the trailer deck though...)
I told Carol I wanted to paint "Lionel Lines" on the side of the container. The train buffs would appreciate that...

Sue, I'm so sorry that I could not give you dates that the Moose would be here. You could have planned accordingly and be ready to leave.

Yesterday we visited the Houston Space Center, took the tram ride to the Orion Mission Control where activity in space was going on replacing batteries. We also toured the inside "museum."
Orion Mission Control
Martin and Sue foating in space.
Posing with the Triton
Sue telling Martin that if he misbehaves she'll kick him into space.
See what y'all are missing by not coming here. COME ON DOWN!

Shame they don't have some costume spacesuits with Velcro that you can slip on quickly for the picture with the astronauts..or would that be too hokey?
On a separate note, our new MagnaShades arrived recently and are now installed on the windshield and front side windows. Makes the old coach look classy Now to get it washed this week.

We had Magna Shade with our last MH. Great product and the company customer service is great.

I'm still here, but can only get data in the wee hours of the morning. T Mobile promises to have that fixed "soon". If soon doesn’t come before we return in October it's bye bye T Mobile. I feel like I have one hand tied behind my back not being able to get online.
We'll leave here for the TXGC not later than April 10th - weather dependent. There's so much I wanna do here but once the daytime temps hit 90* regularly it's bye bye Arizona
BUT!!! Getting online to get the weather forecast ain’t easy. When all else fails I can drive up to the local elementary school and across their WiFi from the parking lot. But that's not secure.
