So if any of you muties are looking for something to do on your way to TX or after the TX GC.

Over the past two weeks a 1.4 and a 1.54 carat diamond was found at Crater of Diamonds State Park here in AR! These along with multable smaller ones give hope that you might find a great one. Those found are yours to keep or agents are there to purchase them or make jewelry if desired.

Looks like the next stop will be a driveway close to the Caribbean

Well dang! I posted some pictures the other day and now I don't see them.. Must have hit the wrong button. So okay, here they are again.

1st picture is the four of us at the Galveston County Fair. The second one we were half way through eating a 9 inch diameter Texas Jumbo Funnel Cake and it was about an inch and a half high piled with Bavarian creme.

I was going to post a rodeo pic or two, but all those bucking broncs were mostly blurs. The cowboys on 'em were even blurrier! Here's one. See if you can find the horse!

Kids catchng goats, calves, & chickens were a hoot, & those are all on video. Dang!

Earlene made a new friend, but she didn't hang around long enough for me to catch the moment. Here's that sweet friend, though. Click image for larger version

Dennis, don't let Sue get you down. If you look out from the Galveston toward the South East, further than the eye can see there is Cancun, Mexico on the right, and Las Tumbas, Cuba on the left. Nothing but water between them.

Now there is no fence there, no wall, nothing just water and the waters all touch, so when Denise puts her toe in the water down Galveston way, it's Caribbean water, just named Gulf of Mexico.

So there.
