Many happy returns.

When we left Johnston city you blew past me like you were trying to outrun the revenuers. I was at the fueling place right at the stop right beside the Al Agave place we ate supper at, on the eve of our leaving. Sure enjoyed our time together.
Thanks Moose and you do realize Johnson City is such a large metropolis that taking my eyes off the road or my hands off the wheel was not possible. We too had a great time and look forward to our next meeting!

On the road, muties? Getting ready? Sleeping in?

It's raining where we are, so of course now is when Martin is doing the unhooking. Rules of the road!

The nav system says we should be home on the hill by early afternoon. It doesn't know about lunch breaks & such.

Be safe, y'all, at home and on the road!
Memories of a super TXGC float along w/ us, & thoughts for future ones.

I will never ever forget this one...hard to believe Bessie left me over a week ago. Doing ok, chugging through my feelings...missing the 'once over' sniffing and looks I'd get after being with my client dogs and critters...always made me feel like I'd been chewing on her. Glad you'll be home tonight Sue. We had strong winds and rain...more rain all week.. April showers gonna bring May flowers!

High winds from the south are quartering us & w/ a loud bang just broke our windward, long slide topper.

The gal at the park we were reserving yesterday asked if we were expecting trouble. Martin's reply indicated it's the RV way of life.

Caution lights are on as we creep toward the next rest area.

Mutating agaaaain!

Hi, Marty! Thanks. You okay?

This could be worse, of course. Waiting for a callback from a tech, we at least have the Walmart here, & we are just a couple of hours from home.

Lunch on board!

Cheers!

On the road again, & it's a lot quieter w/o the topper & its far end poles slamming against the rig.

If you need mechanical help in the Vandalia IL area, Dale Craig is excellent. The company is Elliot Truck & Tire Service, Mulberry Grove, IL, & Dale is the man to deal with.

Martin commented on how handy it is to have a toad w/ a sunroof. The 2 end poles are riding in the Jeep.

I need an adult beverage ... or lunch. Or both!

Believe it. True.

Twice ... 2 years ago on our way to El Paso was the first time. When they warn drivers of high-sided vehicles, I always thought of side winds & tipping. This was quartering & gusty. I read the weather for our location while waiting for the tech & it warned of 30 -50 mph w/ higher gusts.

We are slow learners.

Is it a Unicorn Jeep or the Red Knight Jeep ready for a jousting tournament?
