I would bet you can visit most any county jail and find those that might disagree. Answers sounding something like this, "We were just having fun", "We thought it would be fun" , "We were just funning around".

Many of the activities start with the phrase, " Here, hold my beer!"

I was here a few times today but didn't have anything interesting to add. Just a rainy day here in Effingham. Slept in, goofed off all day.

It was a nice day here (finally). Had to get a new lawn mower, so was busy with that (got me another cheapo push model, they last the longest

).

Brought Mac and Boko outside while I was trimming around the edges. For whatever reason, they aren't bothered by the mower (I find it odd).

Down to my mom's tomorrow for Mothers Day.

We made it to Topeka today - visiting with a friend from college days. To hear we've known each other almost 50 years sounds impossible. And we thought we were all grown up in 1969.

But I do remember a sign on my dorm bulletin board that read, "Never trust anyone over 30”. How naive we were!

Wayne I celebrated the weekend by taking care of many of our Vets. Some mothers among them.

We've been off line a tad having too much fun with our friends in Western New York. I have never been to so many yard and garage and estate sales.

Wayne you tried to leave a voice mail on my cell but the conditions were not right and it came out mostly garbled. (Tim I left a door open for yuh here)

If you could call me back I would love to know what you were trying to tell me. Something about home but the rest is unknown.

Sure miss being with all you lot. Too much fun when we get together no matter how small the gathering.

Barb you should try the Okanagan gathering again I know at least two who would be there.

I did the cooking thing yesterday for Mother's Day and gave my bride the day off of from the stove. Huge batch of Spaghetti Sauce with obligatory meatballs and supper last evening was great. Over estimated the amount and will be feeding on pasta variations for supper for the rest of the week according to our hosts.

BTW does it never stop raining in NY state?
