Last leg of this portion of trip today. Ending up in Scenic Hills RV Park, Millersburg, OH, for 30 days. Drop on by.

p.s many roads are in extreme bad shape with frost heaves and pot holes. Gas tax in Ohio going up 10 cents a gallon. I hear one state, I think IL going up something like 38 percent. Now I wonder if it will go for road repair.

Also, GPS (made for RV) had me on roads yesterday that I swear I had about 4 inches on each side before driving on the line(s). One 90 degree turn had a 90 degree made made wall, corner to corner on the right side of road. I crawled around that turn at about 1 mile per hour watching to see if the TOAD was going to make it. I was ready to stop and block any traffic and unhook if I had to. Made it with a few inches to spare. Scary!

Campground host said, "You must have come from Cincinnati direction and one RV'er hit that wall." She is going to put directions on the web site after our conversation. Nice park here at Alton RV Park, Galloway, OH, Tight spaces but level and long. Good for a one nighter.

Well, OK, if you insist. This is Tom and Jan checking in. It's a new month and we are turning over a new leaf; nothing wrong with the old leaf, but we can't find it 'midst all the clutter of getting ready to travel again.

We have been really busy with a lot of stuff, but are finally getting ready to roll. We are not finished, but we're tired of waiting around.

I'm still struggling with getting all three AC units to work, but two out of three isn't bad unless we need them (we do live in Florida, so that's a factor).

We will leave Clearwater tomorrow (07/02/2019). First two stops are in Florida, then northward into GA, SC, NC, probably TN, KY, and IL. From there we will make a right turn and go back to the Niagara Falls area. After that we will just explore until everything gets cold and we come back.

Anyway, we are following along with the sagas that unfold here, wishing everybody well.

Otherwise, not much to report...............

Tom & Jan

Warning folks, mutant visits can have long lasting effects. Friday night we had supper here at our house. Generally I try to get out and collect eggs from the chickens before dark and as it was starting to get late I excused myself to take care of this chore. Now Richard and Wayne decided they would tag along with me. I really don't think they thought I had live chickens, much less fresh eggs. Now my girls (the chickens) are finicky. Anything out of the ordinary will upset their egg laying routine. Normally out of 7 chickens I get 5 to 6 eggs a day. So as I open the door to the laying boxes I hear one of my guest ask skeptically, we'll do you have any eggs?

Sure, there's 4 in that box and one over here. That's when I think the damage was done. Gorilla man and his sidekick Monkey Boy rushed the coop collecting the eggs. I think the view from inside the coop looking out was to much for the girls. Since that happened egg production has dropped to 2-3 a day. Scared chickens, I think so.

Now it might have been the severe weather we've had passing through, but I think it was the mutants!
Now now, you know females don't do as much work when they are too hot and humid...my DIL have dropped the laying rate due to temps and humidity.

I'm not coming back to that heat. It's only 89˚ here today.

I knew there was a "38" in there somewhere. Hope it goes toward road repair.
