We are presently located in a campground on Manitoulin Island in Lake Huron. Great place to be for a day or two more.

See https://www.batmanscamping.com if you want to see the park.

Oh, okay, we took back roads in the TOAD, but just the other day we were on roads like this,
Looks like a good biker road!

Hey Jim! Maybe I missed it, but what was the decision concerning Paula's treatments? Did she need Chemo or radiation? And your wrist?

You are champs for enduring Yuma summer heat, but I bet there's a lot less traffic with us snowbirds gone.

Enjoy your well deserved break! How far north are you going? Seattle, maybe? Safe travels. We'll see ya in October if not sooner.

Yep! Inquiring minds want to know?
Safe travels - we love the West Coast, not to live but to travel. Been there 4 times. Got turned back a few times because of the fires.

Paula had radiation treatments. Then on meds to maintain. Final Dr.
check on July 16th. Then hit the road. After my therapy they said that
would take about a year before the cracks are worn down enough to
not be rough in the socket. Therefore I need to continue workouts to improve the joint movement/smoothness. Hitting the road on July 20.

Be careful out there.

Is tipping a bottle considered sufficient exercise if you do it a lot?

Happy Independence Day to everyone

So how are you celebrating today?

I'm going to Harbor Freight to take advantage of a 25% off coupon, then I’m going to come home and give the RV a bit of leveling again. After that comes cutting up the HUGE rhododendron that fell over last winter. With any luck the sky will clear and we can watch the fireworks being shot over the lake from the balcony.

Lily is terrified by the booms. Anyone know where I can get doggie earplugs, size extra small?
