[QUOTE=huntnski;4884761]Looks like our travels this year will be taking us to the Gettysburg area. Much closer than Yosemite or Yellostone and equally on our list. Looking at going early ie April/May. Have to be back before Memorial Day, 5yo GD couldn't stop talking about going to the lake next year on Memorial Day weekend.

If y'all go through Virginia on your way, give us a ring. We'd love to see Mary...

That is a good possibility - and it's a less busy time of year for me at work!

Let's have a GC!

Sounds like a great plan. Did anyone notice Tim called for a celebration of his "National Holiday"???

Just in case you missed it, April 1 is April Fools Day...

How many would like to join the celebration???

I'm also glad many existing members are forewarning you about the theme song of Mr. Round, Oh, sorry, Wayne. It's good to listen to those with experience!

Wayne was singing his theme song and I captured a pic. Sure sounds good without any sound

Hello, Glamping, and I suppose I should say “Welcome”, too. They’ll probably kick me out if I don’t behave myself. I’m usually rude and sarcastic (they say...), but I suppose I can change, if I have to, I guess.

So Welcome, but be careful. These folks are a little strange, but can be fun because sometimes the food is free.

Front AC wor...is functioning again

Oops, almost said the 'W' word there...
RV tech 'frankenstiened' the fan motor from a newer unit into our 20 year old AC. Now they both function again and its finally below 80 degrees in here...hopefully that means everything is 'fixed' for a while...

Going to talk to the park people here about how they do rallys (fees, etc.). However, I'm not sure this is a good place for a GC. It's not really centrally located (long drive for some). The clubhouse doesn't appear to have a kitchen (open by appointment on the door so I peeked through windows). Most everything to see or do is about an hour or more away (except the casino and horse racing).
Sorry we're going to miss everyone in Shipshewanna. We won't be there (south campground) until September 1st & I can't convince Carol to take a 2 hour drive each way for a short visit...
No trains real close here (but you can sometimes hear them) However, we're a little north of a small airport so single engine aircraft pass overhead for takeoffs and landings several times a day (and one biplane with a LOUD rotary engine - shook the coach).

We are at the Anderson Muncie KOA just outside of Anderson Indiana until the end of August. Little pricey being a KOA and all but reasonably quiet and well kept. Only complaint is, being a monthly tenant, I have to mow my own yard area or pay them to do it (but the mower and gas are provided free).

Had visitors today, Steve, Mary Ann, Dave's friends Dave and Sherry (Dave only knows other Dave's as friends). Had the gathering in our site with salad, Earlene's beans, sausage on the grill, drinks, and exceptional company.

Dave took pictures so I'll let him post the PoP's.

Thank you Steve and Mary Ann for coming to visit atnd hope to see you down on Little Farm on the River.

If Dave and Sherry happen by to read this, thank you for your company today also,
