The little stinker wasn’t acting sick so I didn’t take her in on an emergency visit. She’s still not outwardly sick. Her biggest concern is. The spot on her arm that they shaved to draw blood.

We'll go back in a few days for more X-rays. Hopefully things will be much better.
MegaOhmmms...

Good thing you were able to find a vet quick enough. I know that's always my concern w/birdies too, specialists are not very abundant.

Hoping for a quick turnaround...

Barb, We will definitely be in Yuma in Feb for the geocaching mega event. We'll be in other places the rest of the time.

The meds seem to be working. I no longer see her cyst moving with each breath and she was most anxious to get outside to play this morning. I know vets, as well as doctors tend to tell you the worst case scenario. That way they seem like miracle workers when the outcome is good. Also, they don’t get sued for those miracles.

I’m more optimistic this morning.

Di what's the local weatherman saying about the incoming storm in your area? Just concerned and maybe a little nosey.

They are saying wait and see...... really. They dont think we will have problems from hurricane, but possibly from flooding after. But again we are nit in a high flood zone, even our flood insurance was cheap....

But Colleen and Hunter, and Barry and Pat could be in for a rough time...

Sena is now taking Enalapril, a heart medication. Today was her vet's day off. I'll find out more tomorrow. Thankfully she likes the taste.
