Friend of mine here at deer camp was out in Texas last week on a hog hunt. One of the men shot a 300 lb bore, walked up to it poking it with his gun to be sure it was dead. The thing jumped up slicing his face in half. Unbelievable how bad his injury was. Way to graphic for most people. The tusk was like razor sharp. He will have many surgeries ahead of him. If any of you hunters want to see what a hog can do send me a text and I’ll send them to you. Remember very graphic.

Porky doesn’t like to be messed with, but that's a bit extreme. And now the guy is hunting deer? I wouldn’t get too close to him out in the woods, Tim. With his luck some stag is likely to gore him. You know hunted animals have their own Facebook where they post targets. And this guy sounds like a MAJOR target.

No the man that was injured is in hospital and will be for some time. My buddy’s SIL took him to ER and stayed till he was stable. My buddy and his SIL returned to Ar and is now at camp with me. I’ve heard how dangerous they are but never expected something as bad as this. Had he not had someone with him it easily would have been fatal.

On a lighter note, Dave I don’t think I’ve responded to the picture of Hayden and her ice cream but she is adorable .

We are home in Texas City. Earlene is chomping to get back out again. So many "triggers" here.

No fur baby. It's lonely without one but I don't know what is going to happen. Time will heal, time will tell.

You two deserve another fur baby. The time will be right when you replace your pup and you two alone will know the right time. Not looking forward to the inevitable right now as our little girls is 14 1/2 years old right now.

Let's get back to stop signs.
