Have been spinning, yes. PoP is from the road home from Wakarusa, IN. Spinning alpaca mostly now & some silk.

We're thinking we might drive the Jeep across from Foley, AL, to FL for a gathering & an overnight. Would not bring the rig or the cats, though. The actual 6th anniversary date is the day before we are due out of the park & on the way home, so all depends on the date set; it's a bit of a fur piece!

We've had one snow already & some unseasonably cold weather, so Martin is rarin' to get on the road! Not planning to head out till after Christmas, though, as we're due in Pensacola Jan.1.

Cheers!Click image for larger version

R U a Mutant

Good morning all.

Little update from Jackie and I.
Finally got the kitchen completed along with a master bath. Moved into the house a little over a week ago. Motorhome is winterized, first time in 3 years, boo hoo.
I started w**k a couple of weeks back, hired into a trucking company that trains you to get your CDL. Passed my driving test last week, hit the road today. Wish me luck.

Thanks for the BD wishes.

We were out-of-pocket yesterday. Went up to get the MH out of storage and take it to the Maintenance Doctor. Checked the tires and on one I thought my gauge was bad. The reading was 36 pound on the inner driver dual. Since it had been sitting for a month I brought along my air compressor so I aired it up, then aired all the others. Checked the one that was down and it was holding pressure. Drove it the 40 miles to Freightliner and it still held the pressure. Going to get them to have it checked.

Also, on the 110 v plug going into the compartment there was some gnawed covering off of the plug line. Aw Shucks, or as Jeff would say. Earlene called me in and the carpet had been scratched to create a pile of plushness. She also had turned on the water pump and water was leaking from the half bath. I'm assuming the varmint gnawed the water line for something to drink.

Pesky little critters.

On our last 5 month trip we only had one problem. The wheel cover, passenger side, tag axle broke loose. By brook loose the bracket that the wheel cover nut screws into sheared off at the bolts against the hub. Second time that has happened and on the same wheel. But hey, considering 5 months on the road and that is the only thing that happened, I'm knocking on wood.

Well, we're considering another pooch. Just to empty without one. Just need to find the right one. Miya stole our hearts the very first time we laid eyes on her. She is missed. We have pictures of her around the house so if you come and visit it almost looks like a shrine.

Miya put up with us and would let us do anything to her. Dress her up, or pile her up.

Happy Veterans Day to all who served !!

Color me confused. . . "grumpy" is not in my limited vocabulary??

Anyway, I have found the MANY MANY forms of communication, and very hard to keep up. I know my mind is just so limited to the vast cyber universe.

Hope you enjoy the warm Florida weather.. About to get down to 20 frigid degrees ( and that is NOT the "wind chill" ) actual degrees...

Have you every tried "Home Swapping" for a vacation?

I know what you mean. I only lasted 6 long weeks after former chihuahua passed, and every day vowing never to have another love! I ate those words when our new princess appeared to be the "incarnated" puppy!

T.T. is the virtual image, but very different personality...

Good luck finding the right fit for you!

Happy Veterans Day!
