Was crowded here too, and to add to the parking problem I was pulling a 18ft trailer. Did find a good spot and since we were wearing our hunting clothes we walked through the weeds up to the track. Once others saw what we did many joined near by. I placed pennies on the track for old times sake!

Looks to have been very exciting! Any of you have this magazine? I picked it up this summer around the time Big Boy came through our town. The whole mag is devoted to the engine...fascinating story, amazing machine.

When your a world famous mutant the paparazzi will track you down. Didn’t know who that was snapping our picture as we stopped to eat. Was a good afternoon and now back at camp. I have to admit, I showed the film to several in the restaurant.

Check out in the outhouse, some say it’s softer than the Sears and Robucks

Looks like an old relic setting still.
Oh wait , that’s Richard standing there!
Actually the still photo was shot by my BIL where he just kept making shot after shot. The movie I made. I edited out where the train stopped and they ask me if I wanted to drive it on into the station.

Not sure if I am an RV Mutant or not but I am a tow vehicle mutant for sure. When it was obvious that my older Chevy gasser was not up to the task of pulling our new Eagle HT, I went looking for the perfect truck. My truck is a 2017 F250 Power Stroke, standard cab, 8 foot bed, hand crank windows, pull up push down door locks, rubber floor and an AM/FM Radio...and that it. I Love this truck. Nothing to break or go bad. I may be the only one on the face of the planet that does not want all the crap that come in new trucks these days. No Power mirrors or power anything except power steering. Well....it does have the one tech thing I wanted. A jack-in to the radio so we can listen to audio books from my flip phone. Ok im lying I do have a smart phone
