So, Archie/Madwinger ... do you know what you've stepped into here? Your very life might be changed!

You've mentioned a powerful lot of things your truck doesn't have, partial requirement for becoming an RVMutant. If you'll check back to the very first posts on this thread, you'll have a better idea what we're about & how the rest of us got here. There are very stringent requirements for being awarded your very own unique RVM number, & any number of folks who will offer to accept your dues....

Welcome to irv2, in any case! Pleased ta meetcha!

Cheers!
Sue, RVM #36

Nothing to break or go bad. I may be the only one on the face of the planet that does not want all the crap that come in new trucks these days. No Power mirrors or power anything except power steering. Well....it does have the one tech thing I wanted. A jack-in to the radio so we can listen to audio books from my flip phone. Ok im lying I do have a smart phone

Tim, I was wondering who was driving.

Wayne, I was on the "Other" side of the tracks, so I made the LONG Journey to Little Rock for a second chance to score a win. It is hard to "one up" Tim.

I was one of the few thousand to get on the train. There was a special "Experience" car that was like a mini museum. Totally worth the trip.

The train looks nice, then I see half an "ugly." Please, please don't show the other half

If you were on the "other" side, then you most likely were on the same side as Tim. All the other RVM's are on the correct side. Well, there may be a few exceptions to that. No, I'm not one of them.

Mutant toys

Archie Madwinger I can so remember speaking those same words about my vehicle. But strangely after that I got one that had air conditioner. Found out I had to have it. Then electric windows came along well you know had to have it. Then electric door locks and stereo and timed wipers and Power steering, power brakes, automatic trans.,fuel injection, trip computer, gps, posi traction, etc. etc..
Let’s face it I have an addiction. So I would go on but I have to search the Internet for my next fix. Whoa is me. Whoa is me.

Archie

Hello Archie! You truly sound very Mutant. Before we allow you to join our exclusive membership you must first pass the written exam. Are you ready?

Question 1- tell us something your RV doesn’t have that you'll never miss.

Question 2 - affirm your dedication by writing verbatim "The Journey is the Destination", our group's motto

Ok, study hard and complete your exam at your leisure. An official will be along later to grade it. If you pass you'll be anointed with your very own RVM number and all the associated rights and responsibilities.

Actually the still photo was shot by my BIL where he just kept making shot after shot. The movie I made. I edited out where the train stopped and they ask me if I wanted to drive it on into the station.
Well, at least driving a train you can’t make a wrong turn or blame jumping trees.

Well I guess I’ll just keep driving The Discovery, my truck driving background better prepared me for that!

Speaking of, I spoke briefly with an old new mutant truck driver yesterday . Sounded like he was having fun and making money!

R U a Mutant

Good morning mutants.

Thanks for the call Tim, say Hi to Mary for Jackie and I.

The new career is OK, don't mind the driving, love seeing the country. Can't wait until I am finished with the training and travel solo. Driving with someone watching your every move makes for a long day. Best guess is only 8 more days.

Take care all, be safe out there.

Good Morning Ed, Jackie & Sheba!

It is very good to hear from you, be safe & enjoy the ride..

Took a break from rock moving because it is rainy and cold.... its 55 and for here that is cold.... Larry is freezing, but they say that is the bloodthinners...

Darling GD needed help..... her mom’s best friend is visiting at Thanksgiving with her 2 daughters, younger than GD who is 9... the moms love to dress them alike, but Dil Could not find 3 dress ex alike in 3 sets of sizes, the other 2 girls are 2 and 4, so Di to the rescue... I put in a lace up back.... lucky enough to match the material, left the zipper in place, but hid it.... lots of thinking and planning from me, when I finally got the plan in my brain, the actual sewing was quick.... anyway, guess who is the hero.....
