We can join you on a few tears for Carl (and other snowed-in RVMs) that could be where you are, Di!!! 🤪
In the mean time, Nola and I will complain about our lousy evening sunsets

We are very unhappy we can't be there with y'all this year. Be good to each other and give our young'uns a hug for us. I hear there is that possibility going on.

Dang, I'm so sorry y'all have to suffer through those terrible sunsets. That's almost as sad as Carl's (expletive deleted) in the weather report.
So do you still have the art box/easel you bought? I bought one too, & am debating packing it for the winter. Heeelp!!! Input from you, Di, & any other artists in the group is welcome! Otherwise I may end up w/ 3 or 4 plastic crates of paints, brushes, pencils, tape, paper .....

The real problem with sn*w at those near-freezing temperatures is when it melts a bit and re-freezes as ice...
so, Carl...did you take that photo of your house while standing on the neighbor's roof or is it a drone photo?

Sorry, Sue, but my art talents only extend to what fits in the easel box. Now, if I could find the artist-me that could get going on some nearly-art projects!

After last night, this is what I woke up to...
That other photo I took from the older section of my house, standing on the roof.
I'd like to wait for it all to melt, but that's not an option as I didn't stock up *that* much on food!

Sue...... I can take all I need in a rather small box.... actually it will fit into a brief case.....
I dont use an easel.... just a support board, which can even be cardboard, i prefer small whitemarker boards
I only really use 5 brushes, use 1/4 sheets of paper or smaller, masking tape, graphite paper, pencil, and then my paint..... which I have 2 travel boxes of Yarka wc, and then my other fav paints....
Of course I only use watercolors...
When I get new tubes, i squirt as much of the paint as I can into these bead containers, which have screw top.... i can also pick out the colors I want like in the small tin..... these came from Hobby Lobby
And well both sunsets and sunrises here.... water on both sides here....

Yes, hoping the “kids” can come by, so Mother Nola can feed them to over capacity.
We are sad that so many are medically sequestered North of the border.
It just doesn’t seem right!

Well Sarge I think they may have gotten the golden doodle mixed up with a Peek a Poo. Or a Shitzu. Ha Ha . Well Good Morning all sounds like most of you have escaped to the south. It’s 33 deg. Here for the high so far today. We are on target to head south to Florida. But I discovered that the bushings are all but gone on my rear stabilizer bar on the Moho. I ordered new ones from amazon now if the snow goes and stays away I’ll get it done. I hate working in this cold but it never fails. I wish I had a building that would hold my unit for times like this. Hoping it will go smoothly and quickly. Well Merry Christmas to you and yours. Don & Mary and dog Bailey.

It must be time for a Mutant roll call! Where are you, how long are you staying and where will you go next?
Sena, Lily and I are parked on our acre of Yuma County desert until at least March 31st. Depending on Springtime temperatures, we may stay longer. From here we will mosey north to my DD's Seattle area back yard for the summer. Nothing exciting, but it all feels good.
Who's next?
