I'm sorry, Bill. I didn’t mean to rain on your parade. I checked Royal Canin's rating just because I care about Lexi. Too many vets (and Drs) just repeat what they heard some salesperson who visits and leaves samples claims about a product. Or some sell it and profit from that advice.

Growing up we fed our dogs Purina because the commercials on TV made it seem so good. It’s a 1 star dog food. I'm just glad there are now resources to help us make better choices.

It's OK Barb! I'll study on the site, perhaps I'll make a change. Bella may like the other stuff even more.

What one feeds their pets makes a big difference. I know as both my buddies suffer from heart issues and are on medication forever now. When I first got Mac (28 years ago) I did tons of research, went on bird forums, etc., trying to learn as much as I could. People swore by the food I fed them for over 20 years and now, due to their diet, they've run into problems.

So don't underestimate how important their diets are. It's over time that it makes a difference. I got Boko to switch to a better food, Mac is still working on it...

In my case, the vet's office didn't sell the brand she (the vet) recommended. So you can see why I took the advice as genuine. Of course that was a couple years ago, and the dog food world appears to have changed since then.

Well, Lexi's vet says that any of these four are excellent choices because there are veterinarians on the staff of these companies.

Science Diet
Purina Pro Plan
Eukanuba
Royal Canin

Now with that said, Miya was on the McDonald's plan, Beneful Healthy Weight and she never suffered from food diseases. However, we will be going with one of the four choices Lexi's new veterinarian suggests, as long as it can be purchased at grocery stores/Walmart nation wide.
Also, my good friend is a Veterinarian and he feeds his 12+ year old Lab Beneful and that pupper is healthy as can be.
I personally don't care for McDonald's.

Is that a disease that is spreadable?

Lexi is coming along real well. Last night was a repeat of falling asleep on me around 10:15 p.m. ish, and me finally waking her around 11:45, and as soon as her feet hit the grass, she piddled. Picked her up, put her in her crate and she never mad a whimper all night. Earlene got her up at 6 a.m.

Well, another first just happened, although not without incident. Lexi went to the door, Woofed, squatted and piddled. Hey, that is an improvement.

She does amuse us some.

In the two pictures, I'm the good looking/handsome one and she's the cute one.

She's sure bonding with you that's for sure!
She's doing great it sounds......she's just a bit off on her timing. She probably just finished saying to herself...."rats, I need to go to the door a bit earlier, then woof, and I got this!"
The second picture shows in her face- "sorry, I'm embarrassed, working on the timing, next time!"

Well let's see, I see the dogs rear end and ... Oh sorry that's actually Wayne's face. For the record, I hate the beard, but I do still love the guy!

More like, "Hey, this is nice. It keeps me from going out in the cold wet grass!"

Don't make me put the hex of Herb on you.
One day I'll shave half of it off. You may decide you want me to leave it on.

Anyone on a MAC computer that uses stand alone software for business cards?
My 32 bit app will not work any more on the 64 bit only mac.

The Cutters vote "Aye!" for the beard. (If I were a guy, I'd say it was because it hides part of that face.)

As for Lexi, it goes w/o saying!

They are business card designs depicting iRV2, Texas Boomers, and RVMutants.

I promote good will.

Happy to hear you like it.

The beard will have to come off if Lexi keeps thinking it is another furry animal (not just the animal me) and keeps biting it.
