And today I put a coat of Connie desert tan paint on the 2 completed window frames. Also found 6 more drawers that I had stashed inside. They are in good shape so I set them on top of the trash drawers in the hoop shed. I paid $2.55 each and no tax so it’s hard to complain about quality. The drawer fronts are still useable. Shopping at Habitat for Humanity Restore has saved me big bucks.
I promised Bob I'd get Connie’s interior cleared out and cleaned up before he gets back. It’s amazing how much clutter I’ve managed to accumulate. I swear it multiplied while I was gone this summer.
Tomorrow I'm ordering the special insulation that is formed in the shape of Connie’s corrugations with studs and wire chases molded into the foam panels. It ain’t cheap but it will save tons of time and valuable inches in the finished interior. Glue holds it on the walls so it goes in fast. Bob bought an air powered glue gun so that will make it super fast.

I'm always excited about finding clean drawers. My momma always don't leave the house unless you have clean drawers on. Lucky find Barb!
Barb the progress on Connie sounds good!

I heartily agree, Tim! It makes me ponder how many drawer changes you make daily in the deer stand?
B&B (Barb and Bob), your escapades, creativity, and triumphs are very entertaining!

Well, here's one for you. My friend (yes I do have 1) has a Yellow Lab. His wife was making cookies so she put the waxed paper on the island and started making the little piles of cookie dough to bake. She left the room for a few minutes, came back and said to herself, "Hmm! I though I made cookies." The waxed paper was clean as a whistle.
So, now that I remember that story, I'm going to blame the dog.
Has that helped you for "the next time?"
p.s., always blame the dog, cat, cow, horse, opossum, squirrel - you get my drift?

Ok I have to brag on myself. Normally I don't pull my TT out from deer camp till after the first of the year. By that time most of the other campers are gone leaving me with plenty of room to maneuver around the oaks, pines and jumping trees. Today with temps near 70 and me needing to bring camper home to unload, I decided to try getting it out. It was close, very close, but no trees were harmed, no campers were bumped and the clean out has begun. I pick up my new TT Friday. Salesmen are ready to deal in December!

ROFLMAO I had forgotten you actually had a possum raiding your kitchen. Proves the point, eh? You just can’t trust them possums.

I have a camp fire story about "Spot." Remind me to tell it if you are nearby.
