We drank fancy homemade rum eggnog in the evening, watched Times Square till we got bored, then I stayed up by the "fireplace" to keep an ear out for fireworks.
Fireworks in AL didn't start until just before midnight & not close enough to scare the cats, just alert them. My friend's neighbor in S.FL was setting off his fireworks between his house & hers! Her poor pooch was scared witless! She herself was just mad.
Next?

I was awake and I do believe that someone came to the abandoned airport just west of us to shoot off f something LOUD rather than pretty. Lily was a nervous wreck, but Sena merely lifted her sleepy head for a moment and went back to sleep. I'm glad that’s over.
The sun is shining brightly and there’s no wind. It a bit chilly at 50* but not bad if you stay in the sun. I’m looking forward to a productive day. I hope all y’all have a GREAT start to 2020.

went to sleep, but fireworks woke me up at 11:50, watched a few then went back to bed. Larry and the dogs never stirred....

mutant?
not sue yet but we sold our home, old trailer, and traded in both vehicles and now have a larger truck and a new 25footer and that's all. we both decided it was time for a change,we're not sure how long we are going to be full timers yet but are committed to 18 months minimum to just roam and look for places to settle again but a smaller place for sure.

Welcome BroNad! You truly sound very Mutant. Before we allow you to join our exclusive membership you must first pass the written exam. Are you ready?
Question 1- tell us something your RV doesn’t have that you'll never miss. Mine doesn’t have a sauna and I don't miss having one.
Question 2 - affirm your dedication by writing verbatim "The Journey is the Destination", our group's motto
Ok, study hard and complete your exam at your leisure. An official will be along later to grade it. If you pass you'll be anointed with your very own RVM number and all the associated rights and responsibilities.
I hope to check in later to find that you have succeeded in your quest, Grasshopper.

Carol and I were up. Little bit of fireworks here and there but no guns as far as I could tell.

At least yours is on a slide, I had to pay for them to remove mine and put it back in last spring when it was in for maintenance. Parts were cheap, labor, ugh!

Did you know that DATELAND, AZ has succeeded from the US? Well, at least UPS seems to think so. Below is the tracking history of a package I ordered Monday. Read it from the bottom up. It’s the same address I always use. I didn’t type it in, just clicked on the button. I got an email saying my package was delayed in customs. BTW, it’s a bilge pump and float switch for my greywater system in Connie.
I wonder if that means I don’t have to pay income or sales taxes anymore?
