Hey, wait a minute.
As a group, in Texas last April, all of the RVMs thanked Wayne when he didn’t sing!

Today's ride was up to Clearwater Beach, proclaims itself as the best beach ever, on the way back, it got late enough to catch the sunset at Madeira Beach. The entire area makes it quite the ritual as seen in the 2nd shot. Even as I was walking back to the parking lot, some guy on a building on the right (not in the shot) was telling me how I needed to wait another 1/2 hour to see a better shot. That building was packed with folks on their porches looking out over the water as well. Some cheered when it hit the bottom of the gulf.

Beautiful place Carl. Have you ever been to Caledesi Island nearby? We walked the entire beach there....one of the most rejuvenating experiences of my life thus far.
P.S.- that sand and salt water exfoliate your feet like no product on the market claiming to do.....
Stepping on sharp sea shells......not so much.

Connie report - we have 95% of the wall insulation up. There’s a 7” band around the top of the walls left because Connie is a "high cube" which means she’s 1 foot taller than the standard cargo container.
Today was BEAUTIFUL- sunny and 70*. Working in front of the south side was like being slowly baked. I grabbed the heat gun and found the outside wall was 152*. Inside where the insulation is in it was only 71* on the same wall. When I shot an uninsulated area in the storage room the inside of the south wall was 121*. Amazing, huh?
Bob has finished the bed platform except for the support down the center. There are 2 large battery boxes going against the wall for the solar system. They will be vented to the outside so no gases leak into my bedroom. In a tiny house every square inch needs to be utilized.
We’re also working on the water capture system. For a short time rain was predicted for tomorrow night but that seems to have changed. Big surprise!

We live in the Clearwater area, and we can testify that those sharp shells can ex-toliate you if you aren't careful.
Good pictures, for sure.

Hi Tom! We haven’t heard from you in a while. Welcome back. Thanks for the ex-toe-liate chuckle. Are you speaking from experience?
Hugs to you and Jan!

What, you winter in Florida and don’t have pontoons for your bike?

Great, now just tell us what you don't have for the RV and don't miss and declare that the Journey Is The Destination.
Enjoyed the "second" meet with y'all.

Bob, double that brace down the middle....er...uh...oh, that monkey will be jumping up and down and you want a sturdy brace.
Sorry Sena, but I had to recover from the words.

They have a boat to take you over and back. They tell you what time to be back at the boat to return to mainland. Funny, we got so enthralled in the beauty and walking along.....we turned and looked back and realized we'd gone a lonnnng ways. It didn't seem like we had covered a couple hundred yards, but we walked the whole shoreline. Just marvelous.....a first time to the area for me, I was instantly a beach bum....big contrast from IA farm country.
Anyway, we thought, the boat! By the time we got back I think the boat had made 2 or 3 trips.....they couldn't seem to figure out why they had two extra people on this particular return trip.
I don't believe you'll regret going there....look it up for directions to departure center, times, etc.
Great place, do take pics and share. I would but this was before I had a smart phone, so my pics are not retrievable at the present time.

Well...someone rang my bell the other day and reminded me the forum had fallen off my radar....Honey is still in the parking lot behind the house. We've had Lookers, one was prepared to buy, but he went to Dinner with his elderly mom, she wasn't feeling well when they got finished, and we haven't heard from them again... Couple of others have shown interest. I'm not in any rush as I don't want Honey going to someone who will neglect or abuse her...no meth lab type situation..... Took the 4Winds in to get a brake indicator light installed in the dash so we know when the Jeep is braking. I think Bob is pondering putting a rearview camera in to help with backing up chores. We'll probably take her out in March for a shakedown campout with our oldest grandson who will have spring break sometime in March. Not sure I want to be cooped up with a 6 year old for a whole week inside an RV if the weather gets icky then, so we will play it by ear. Bob put a shelf in the cabinet over the sink... So that will increase usage.
Tilly is our dog now.. she was a foster for us years ago, went to one of my sons, but she's getting older, needs more attention and potty breaks than they are able to provide for her, plus she learned some bad habits (well...not exactly her fault...you stick your corn fog in her face she assumed you mean her to have it...) Of stealing the boys food as they don't sit at the kitchen table to eat on a regular basis...in shirt...they lost their patience with her so she came back here with me...youngest grandson is not too careful with his feet, and would step on her...and she's older and arthritic...you know the feeling....Anyway...she'll be our camping companion too. Can't uploads pic anymore...but she lived with us 20 years ago and didn't get along with Bessdog.
Now that I've written a book...I probably need to catch up, although I am on FB a lot and see much of the goings on there from those who use that platform too.

Bob REALLY gets into is work! He wanted to put Goop sealant around the inside of the discharge elbow on this first wash barrel for our water capture system. So he took off his cap and climbed in. He came out with Goop in his hair and on his forehead and hands. He was still picking it off hours later when he headed home.
