Nola has always been known to speak softly and use stink eye most effectively.

Speaking of stinky, anyone talked to Sir Cumferance lately? I spoke with him the other day but I'm not sure what day it is now so can't say when it was.

Okay, Muties, the truth and an apology:
I took a pic of Nola as she stirred the pasta.
She just happened to look up!
So, we connived.
It’s a fake!
And we aren’t sorry!

It might be a fake this time but I bet she's used the real stink eye on you and your kids more than a few times over the years.

Yep!
Nola has the most effective “look” that ever existed.
And her use of it is famous and feared!
NOTHING can shut up a child (no matter their age) or spouse quicker than

I liken it to my mom's "incredulous" or "are you kidding me" etc.

Way to go Nola.

I wasn't going to bring this up but yes, father Tim called and we spoke for some time. As I told him, his voice was so soothing and laxative in nature.

Thanks Tim.

=========================

On the other side, as it goes, I have had 3 knee operations. Two ACL's and right knee replaced. On all of those occasions I was walking without the aid of assistance in 3 to 4 days. When I say assistance I'm talking crutches. I would carry them but they would not touch the floor unless I felt I needed them.

With this present left knee replacement it is a totally different story. I have a walker, not a dog walker although Lexi does help, I would not even think of taking a step without having that walker under me.

With that said, and to not bore y'all to death, every day is just a little bit better. I'll get there even if it is going to be slow.

Nowhere to go so come on down.

Glad each day is a little better. Currently sitting in Lafayette Louisiana, not too far from you. Waiting for next assignment, you never know where.

If you ever get a run across I-8 in Arizona and have a few extra minutes to stop - give me a shoutout. We're just 2 miles from exit 67 and there’s a ton of truck parking nearby. I’ll come get you. I'd love to show you the progress we’ve made on Connie and get your input.

Between you and Bob the wealth of carpentry knowledge is amazing!

Give Jackie and Sheba hugs from us the next time you get home.

Yes she is.... They gave me a new truck that only had 5000 miles on it. The problem is it has a single bed. Some double bunks will arrive towards the end of February, hoping to get one.

They sent me towards New Orleans to load and head back home for the weekend. Someday it will work out for a visit.

PS sitting in Lamberts enjoying a great dinner.
