Be careful what you wish for!
We've had an abundance of rain in Arizona this year. When you look outside it appears that grass is growing in the desert. I was really excited at first to see all the green, but now I’m panicked.
What I thought was grass grew into this little flowering plant. I recognize those flowers! When the plant dries out it becomes like tiny Velcro balls that stick to everything, especially Lily's fur. Yuck!!!

Where oh where have the Mutants gone? Oh where oh where can they be? With their rigs so long and their rigs so short what ever else can they be?
Remember "where has my little dog gone?" ditty from way back then? Sing the above to that tune.

R U an RV Mutant too?
RV Mutants in Texas City had a Mini Curiosity today!!!!
Earlene and Jeannie pooled their expertise in Texas cuisine that was Mutantatiously amazing!
By the way, “No Facebook Wayne” was also there. 🤪
Dave Koons was “present” in the empty chair. [emoji16]
I wish that all of you Muties could have been here, but that’s how the cookie crumbles! [emoji23][emoji30]

Woot! Look at all them mutants, eating, as usual! Good cooks in that bunch, too ... ask me how I know.
Sharing food = love, right?
It's really great to see Jne & "the Dave chair", since we haven't seen much of them around here lately. High time y'all had some sorta Curiosity! We're still waiting on Chuck in the Truck & Sara to land in a spot near us next month, so we can be Curious too!
Y'all come by here, y'hear?

My 88 year old mother is here visiting... I know I should be happy she us here, but she criticizes EVERYTHING i do....
yesterday for lunch with 2 of her friends that live in Florida. I drove her 2 hours to lunch.... first thing she told them i was constantly touching the gpa screen the whole time..... well i said no, i did not, that is impossible when the car is moving the touch screen does not work, her friends agreed.... so the rest if the lunch I got the stank eye......
THAT IS WHERE I HAVE BEEN ................ ohms for me to stay calm.... I left home 50 years ago.... but she still pushes my buttons

So Di, your mom is thinking:
I'm smiling because you are my daughter. I'm laughing because there is nothing you can do about it.

Di, you know you'll never win a disagreement with her so you might as well adopt the "yes Mom" philosophy. That's where you agree with everything she says just to keep the peace. My Mom has been gone for years but she can still push my buttons - if I let her.

Having RVMutants visit us is always a treat for us. The more the merrier.
There is a new RV park in town (25 miles North of us) that is a Passport America RV Park. Their normal rate is 65 a night and PPA is 32 a night. Very very nice RV resort.
Unfortunately they do not have a rally room/meeting room.
Missed the "Empty Chair Dave" yesterday but he did have a very good excuse, according to him, well, and Jeannie.
Roy and Lexi got along well although Lexi is a barker wanting Roy to play. Had to put the both outside at times because of their behavior. Roy wanted to run around the inside of the house in circles and Lexi wanted to chase after him barking. Wouldn't miss it for the world!
In the World Of Lexi, she is doing fine. On the 18th of this month she will be 4 months old. How time flies when we are having fun. Little smarty paws has learned how to "come," "sit," "down," "shake hands," and "roll over." The command "stay" is still a slight challenge for her/us.
When we first got her she weighed 4 lbs, .07 ounces. She is now at 18 pounds (+/-)
Come on down and meet her!

I wandered away at 17 but it was due to difficulties between me and my dad.
It all comes out in the wash

Today, Earlene drove Nola and me all around the area.
For me, it was an amazing comfort, and very relaxing, to ride in her beautiful Lincoln, looking around like a tourist.
Back at Miner-ville, we played with Lexi. Just after the second pic of her, she played and growled at her ears, and bit one and yelped!
Early lesson for a sweet puppy!

Clarification on the Birth Place of the U. S. Air Force.
It was approximately 1913 and the first U. S. Army Aero Squadron started in Texas City, TX. It was during the revolution with Mexico and the Army wanted to be closer.
Ha ha! Consider that the closest land mass on a direct flight is 500 miles and Mexico City is about 750 miles.
It has been stated that because of hurricanes and other weather, the Aero Squadron move to San Antonio. SA now has Lackland/Kelly AFB and Randolf AFB.
