Texas City, my birthplace BTW, has a lot of interesting history. I guess I need to visit and learn more. We moved to Houston before my first birthday so I don’t remember any of TC itself.
Watch out Minerville! There may be a monkey invasion in a few months.

Ohmms for Dennis this morning as he undergoes cataract surgery. Actually, it’s probably Irene who needs them more. She has to drive for the next week and put up with his grumpiness and back seat driving. Who luvs ya pal?

Dave and Sherry visited us several weeks ago. We had met them in Shipshawana, IN when Dave and Nola were there also. Very nice and definitely RVMutant material.

But Tim. you'll be able to see the trees as they jump.
And your dear wife's face. And the kids and grands too.
Sounds like a great fix to me. Mine was.

Nope.... maybe just a few days..... had one done 30 years ago and one 20 years ago, back in the pioneer days...

Had cataract surgery on both eyes last year. Best thing I've done in a long time, and a totally cool procedure from the inside. Saw nothing but the bright surgical light, felt absolutely nothing at any time. No pain or itching afterward. So totally, totally worth it.
Nothing but house chores today -- vacuuming, laundry, bathroom cleaning, errands. DW has a four-day weekend and we want to make the most of it without losing time to mundane stuff.

Thanks to those that replyed but one more question, did any of you have the multi focal lens implanted? I understand that it's available but insurance doesn't cover it. For the prices I've heard they should give me X-Ray vision!

And most likely drive a nail into the center of the boards holding up a deer stand.

They asked Earlene if she wanted it and said it would be about $1500 more for the one eye. She said she didn't want it because glasses hide wrinkles. Something you need to ponder
