That only applies to a familiar Kanuckistanian. His head is so far up...that elevation taxes are needed.

Public Apology!

I feel it is necessary to make this public apology to Wayne for hanging up on him twice. He is not in our contacts on our land line, and I didn't recognize this "TEXAS Foreign Accent" and I thought it was a "Scam or Span" call...

However, when he called on my cell, I have him in our Favorite Contacts and it popped up with his name... Of course, we answered that one.

So, Wayne, I humbly publicly apologize and beg your forgiveness.

I don't feel slighted in the bit. I know you and Tim have me on the reject list. Besides, I know I confuse you when you said, "Hello," and I said, "Press 1 for English or 2 for any other language." Probably #2. But that was on the first hang-up. The second one you just picked up and hung up in the same one sweeping motion.

That is when I decided to call the Cell phone. It is very fortunate that Anne doesn't let you use electronic devices, especially at your age. She was very gracious in answering and talking to me. Much better than me having to listen you whine, whimper, and blame her like you always do.

Oh, BTW, Apologies accepted.

Contacts?
Land line!

Well we finally did away with our land line but we find haveing some "individuals" info in our contacts list helps us avoid nuisance calls.

Ok, this is so unlike me, but I actually enjoy the calls from Wayne and even Dennis. Can't believe I'm posting that, I must have been hacked!

We've been so busy helping family that I haven't posted much but keeping up with this group is pretty easy. Later gator!

I know how nice it is to talk to me. I practice in the mirror every morning and the guy looking back at me sings my theme song.

But, Dennis! Are you for real? It's like talking to a goat. All you get is Baaahhhh, baaahhhh!

Don't forget that the title bestowed upon you was just harassment. Any commands you might give can back fire. Take "spit" shine for example as a wax. Don't worry though. You will always have the title MLump President Emeritus. It will never go away.

I wonder if he knows the rest of us MLumps turned down that honour and he was sorta stuck with it? If he doesn't know I sure as heck ain't gumma tell him; he's bigger than me.

Just up the road from where I'm at is a power plant along the water and it heats up this little inlet. Tons of manatees show up during the colder weather to warm up. There's an official viewing area (and gift shop of course). Been there quite a few times but when it's warm, not so many show up.
The group I used to go kayaking with, out from Naples, took the opportunity once to paddle among manatees congregating in warm waters near a power plant. They were not bothered by us, apparently, swimming under our kayaks, surfacing alongside to give the paddler the once over, generally milling around in slo-mo. Occasionally one would bump the bottom of a boat, not hard & not malicious, but enough to get your attention!
