That is cool though....as in "neat", "fine", "bitchin", "dope", or whatever other goofy modern day slang term applies. Just to be "clear".

What a marvelous experience! I’m jealous!

There are 1.7 million acres of desert south of us that are designated fly zones and bombing ranges for the military. We often hear fighter jets, but rarely see them because either they are flying low or they fly so fast that the sound is too far behind them (remember, light carries much faster than sound) for us to locate such a tiny plane.

Today was a really good day for comm trails in the sky. We saw lots of them, but this one caught my attention. Somebody was having fun down there!

Sara & Chuck rolled in to 5 Flags today to much hoopla. Some ole lady w/ blue hair & a buncha leis was in the greeting party, having supposedly cleaned up their site after the Steens left it. [emoji56] There were laughter, hugs, & fussin' all 'round, since their arrival had been delayed. Worse yet, a blown tire at Milton, only 35 miles or so away! Sorry, no pics of all that hullabaloo.

The bunch, about 18 of us, went to Sonny's BBQ next door later for time to chill & chat. Click image for larger version
