We are staying put right where we are.
Too easy to just sit this one out.
We are just over an hour west of the park where Denise and I visited with you and Sue way back when.

Don't know how many people you come in contact with each day where your at but every contact is the possibility of a virus transfer. We can greatly limit our contact by staying on our hill here at home. Here there are things to do to stay busy without mixing with others. A trip now and then to get supplies then back home. The world is looking a lot different, see the pic I took this am I posted on Google group. I'd go where you feel safest.

Martin and Sue, it is a decision that only you can make. Do you feel safe where you are? Would you be safer at home? Tough decision. How many people will you have contact with on the way home.

Use plastic bags or gloves for fuel pump handles.

Well said!

Just a little news from AR... Lake Catherine trails drawing huge crowds -- Pinnacle Mountain seeing many climbing, Petit Jean in the news with lines of cars overflowing to get to the beautiful trails etc, etc. . . .

Forcing our State Parks to take measures to promote social distancing and many facility closures, but Governor resisting calls to close the state parks so far.

As for us, just the essential close by travel & home projects. Doing our best to avoid this plague, pandemic, COVID-19 or whatever you want to call this historic problem.

Lets all be part of the solution.

Y'all stay safe and well so we can meet at Tim's to help with his chores today, April Fools Day...

That is April 1, 2021 or so....

Was talking with oldest son yesterday, one of his coworkers just bought a new truck. He said it was the most fun he'd had in a long time. He realized that everytime he said I'll have to think about it they came down another $2000. Finally at $15,000 off he took the deal.

I can imagine the ability to negotiate is greatly enhanced right now. I saw one news article about a local dealership that was used to selling 45 cars a day and now they only sell ONE! Every buyer must be king when they walk in.

Galveston County has a population of 335,000 + a few. As of yesterday there were 106 cases in the county. (About .03%)

Texas City, as of yesterday. had 17 cases for a population of 45,000 + a few. That is about .04% for our population. (Is my math correct?)

We are getting ready to go to the grocery store. H.E.B. has people waiting outside in lines but only to control the amount of people in the store so they can keep their space distance.

My physical therapy was cut short by 5 sessions but they did order me one of those great machines that gives me tingling sensations. Reminds me when a youngster of grabbing a blender that had a bad ground. I think Earlene wants to hook it up to my butt to get me going.

Mary Ann and I are staying put in Florida for another month. Warmth, sunshine, golf cart rides and coatless walks.

With Indiana’s stay at home decree, what’s the upside of going north? GKs won’t be able to visit. We can “FaceTime” with them from here in Florida. Neighbor is checking the house.

Sue,

Travel by RV is the only way I would go anywhere right now. Should you go home? How easy is it to get supplies in both places? If you are feeling shut in where you are, go home. If not, stay. What’s the weather like in both places? Do you have enough room between RVs to safely spend time outside? Sunshine is a great cure for everything. Whatever you decide- stay safe!

Some idiots in FL have moved their parties to boats that are tied together. They’re transferring to each other’s boats and mingling like at a bar. Governor jumped on that in no time. Limit to 10 per large craft and boats must be 50 feet apart. Criminal misdemeanor charges for offenders.

What I find interesting is that number of people that test negative. In Arizona they have tested 19,371 people yet only 1,289 were positive. That’s only 6.65%. What did the other 93% have? The flu? A bad cold? Hysteria?

Yuma county still only has nine cases. There are 207,000+ people in the county. Other than Dennis and Irene, I don’t have contact with anyone except for my weekly trip into Yuma for essentials. I'm very careful to stay away from other people and not touch door handles etc with bare hands. Although I have plenty of nitrile gloves I think wearing them would give me a false sense of security. Plus they’re hot!

A friend in Oklahoma told me that car dealerships were ordered to close. But in Norman, on the "mile of cars", they all stayed open. There are about 12 dealerships in a row. Only the Mitsubishi dealer was given a citation for being open. It makes me wonder if the person issuing a citation had a personal grudge against them. I bet this one will end up in court at a later date.
