Funny what kind of shots you get when you have a monkey for a model. While we were having lunch at Notta Ranch today I asked Sena to pose for pictures and she immediately chattered something at me then proceeded to open her water bottle to have a drink.

We're semi-boondocking (electric only) behind C. J. 's RV Repair here east of Yuma. The coach's rear cap is in a nearby service bay getting my screw-up from last fall repaired. Les the owner is slowly restoring a bright red 1959 Chevy in another bay. Two coaches adjacent to ours are getting paint repairs. Another was getting a new bottom panel on the bedroom slide. Hard work has never bothered me - I can watch it for hours...

Have coffee ready! Denise and I will be there later this morning on our way back from shopping. I have to pick up a new screen door handle and return the tape measure he dropped out here.
Just kidding about the coffee but we will be there early afternoon.

If it's not a life-threatening emergency, I'd rather they test first; at this point in his treatment COVID-19 would kill him in hours.
BTW, have you talked with a vet to see if Sena is susceptible to COVID-19? Some species are more likely to cross-infect than others (pigs, birds) but I have no clue as to primates.

Mike,
I read last night that they are using macaque monkeys to do research on COVID-19. Macques have considerably different genetics than capuchins, but her DNA is closer to human DNA then other animals such as dogs and cats. Plus she has 2 serious co-morbidities - type 2 diabetes and congestive heart failure. She’s also turning 23 years old this month. That’s like 46 in human years. She’s no Spring chicken.
I’m torn as to whether I should allow her to interact with others. On one hand, there’s only 12 cases in our whole county of 207,000 people. We only go to town once a week normally for essentials.
On the other hand, she thrives on interactions with other people. And she brings great joy to those that she does pay special attention to. She will look them in the eye, hold their hand while massaging it and chatter lovingly.
For the most part I’m a fatalist, I believe that an expiration date was stamped on our souls the day we were born. We die when we are meant to die by any of hundreds of causes. If it’s not our time to die then we’re spared in that car wreck, fire or illness, etc.
It’s also impossible for me to stay 6 feet apart from people she interacts with so it would probably be wise for me not to allow her access to others. For now I’m going to decide on a day-to-day basis. I refuse to be one of those panicked by this, but I’m also being careful.
Thanks for your concern!

Hello to all y'all mutants,
We are hunkered down here in Goodyear, we extended our stay ( much to my displeasure) for another month, I know it's going to get hot , but be that as it may the places we wanted to go explore have been shuttered and Michigan seems to be a place to avoid right now. Plus our Drs. Here seem to think they can keep us on an appointment tether that I'd just as soon break. Plus we keep hearing that there are traffic check points for those that travel, I've got the itch to be moving down the road believe me.
So in the meantime I'll continue to putter about the coach and tie up loose repair ends that I'd normally put off till the next stop. It reads like some of the rest of us are having many of the same issues, and then some that have a S&B still and some that don't have a rolling apartment any more. Sending oooohhhmmmsss to all that need them. Stay safe my friends ...
Cheers !!!

Be careful when watching news and reading items on the Internet. Not all is as it may seem. Stay calm and it to shall pass.

Richard I've got some post holes to dig. Do you know how to operate post hole diggers? I can't seem to get them started!
