Nola got her birthday presents today!!!
Some may remember our RV door had carabiners as a door handle (for 4 years).
Some may have heard that our onboard water pump died.
Some may know that our toidy broke.

Hmmm, I seem to be a bit behind. First - I want to wish Nola a very happy 39th (again) birthday.
And second, we are still hanging out in Dateland doing some digging in the dirt and some pounding on the house. It’s beginning to look like we’re going to be here for the summer. I bought a small air conditioner for Connie plus a large inverter and next week I’ll pick up two more solar panels. We haven’t been through a monsoon season here, if it’s as bad as they say it is we may opt to head up to the forest near Flagstaff for a few weeks. I can’t take the high heat and the high humidity.
There are only 14 cases of COVID-19 in Yuma County so I’m not real worried about running into somebody with it.

Hey, you're not Carl. Hi Barb. Everybody must be at the email group because they haven't been here...
Anyway, there is this bird outside here that has been singing almost constantly all evening. 4 or 5 different songs.
I have seen what I think is a quail or partridge here, along with 1 (or maybe) 2 little brown rabbits. There are also a few mourning doves and pigeons. Oh, and some of those little lizards. Lots more wildlife than at the RV park...
There's a housing development behind this place. All the buildings are SW-styled adobe looking including the wood logs sticking out at the roof line.

Just dealing..... day to day, minute to minute.
think Larry is dealing hard with this, he didnt get out much anyway, but last week he was tired and has gone down since....
he isnt eating, and is barely drinking any thing... yesterday less than 8 ounces all day, he is supposed to drink 2.5 liters
he gets mad at me when I remind him he has to. For his heart pump as well as kidney disease....
He is very shaky and I had to get his walker out, but even that is hard. I know cardiac rehab is key....
There is nothing any of you can do, I know that, but I need lots of ohms... and maybe I just needed to vent, because I am having a really hard time...
If I take him into see his team, they will admit him and put an iv in him and there is a no visitor in effect... right now I am seriously thinking about taking him...
BUT if he continues like this, for another day then I will..... if I can get him into the car....
He must have been reading my mind, because he just drank 4 oz of apple juice, not near enough, but a start.....
I Really need lots of ommmmms... to give me wisdom to know what to do and how to handle him...
Gone from sweetness, cajoling, special homemade foods, rationalizing, explaining.... now just being insistent....
Each of you mutants have struggles as well, and I hate to ask for your thoughts and prayers for even 5 minutes, but I do think of you all each day, and even get my book out to wonder about the mutants who just stayed with us for a short time... they missed out on knowing the best group around.... love you my friends...
