I just got a call from Lily's vet. Lily has valley fever. I’ve been reading about it and it is not an easy illness to treat. It could take months of medication or even the rest of her life. It comes from fungus spores in the soil and she’s a major digger. She loves to chase lizards under the creosote bushes and then try to dig them up. This vet is going to make a mint off of me this year. Between her and Sena the bills have been $$$$

We're in S. IL today, home this afternoon. Our farmer/neighbor says no trees down this year & the roof is still on. That's all to the good!

So, Lily can't go outdoors w/o a muzzle now? Oral meds or injections? Poor baby!
