Lilly is a trooper. She is over here being babysat while the girls went to do essential shopping. So far she has supervised (alongside Mizzie) my repair of the awning attachments that provide afternoon shade for the mint julep refreshments, the window shade thingy that slides up and down magically (usually) and the new handles on the screened entry door. She is taking a nap on the bed (ours) while I take a well deserved coffee break. 68ºF here at the moment and sunny sunny skies and a cool breeze from out of the south west.
Good going on the assorted gennys. Can't live without those things if the solar or plugins quit.

Just kinda saying thanks to you guys starting all this off.

Just boiled a dozen eggs in the instant pot. Use the 4 minute pressure. Let sit for 30 seconds then released pressure. Perfecto!

Wayne, for some reason my beautiful bride is deathly afraid of pressure cookers. I tell her the days of exploding steam engines is long past, but she's not going near anything that resembles a pressure cooker. Since she's a wiz at everything else, I'll let it slide.
Spent the day social distancing by going into the crawlspace, running a new 110v AC line to a 12v DC transformer for outdoor lighting, and installing a new switch in our front hallway. Everything done per code, and it passed the smoke test. Gawd but I'm sore though. Going to read an old Nelson DeMille thriller tonight for a reward.

Mike, my mom was one of 9 and they all grew up using pressure cookers of the 40's and 50's, the one with the heavy weight on top with 3 holes for the type of pressure desired. Although they had the potential to explode, none in the family ever did explode.
Here is a read on [url=https://kitchenappliancehq.com/can-an-instant-pot-explode/]Instant Pot[url]
Not saying it can't happen, but unlikely if all safety is followed.

On the news this evening. Thirty nine (38) patients in the Texas City Nursing home are recovering after taking hydroxychloroquine. You can bet your sweet bippy that at present time I'd take it if I had to. It has been around for years treating Lupus so what is it going to hurt to take it for COVID-19!
