Since I can't take a full month off, I need something that narrows down that timeline a little. Doesn't matter to me where in that range of dates, but folks should agree to this one little formality in the plan...
Not to mention making reservations far enough in advance that spots will be available.
I was kinda hoping this might turn into a GC, here's hoping it becomes a reality!!!

Everyone put it on your calendar and call and make reservations. No clubhouse there but the outside sitting is nice. A few portable tables and y'all know how delicious the pot lucks are.

Ok so today Mary and I worked most of the day down in the pastures. Using tractor and side by side we burned a mountain of dead logs, limbs and debre. Light breeze and occasional sprinkle made it a perfect day for this over needed chore. All the while our trusty chocolate lab was by our side or at least nearby. She is 13 yo and getting slower but she mingled in and out of the cows without issue. Well that is till a 1 yo bull calf decided to show her who was boss. She chased her across the big pasture, through the gate into the small pasture, up through the trees till finally the lab ducked under the barbed wire fence to the safety of our back yard.
She did return to the pasture after our lunch break but made a big swing around the cows. These calfs are always being pushed around by the cows so they take advantage of something smaller than they are. If this quarantine last much longer we may even trim the tree branches.

Didn't disappear. It's right through between the palm trees, shining in the distance.
Now, where did you leave your specs?

Marking out 9/11 - 10/11 on the calendar & may make a reservation, but as Carl said, we'd need to narrow down the window a wee bit.
I need a GC ... gotta move out some of these prizey-type things that gradually fill up crates in the closet! Not that we need to see any of you lot, of course. [emoji6]

Been busy here chasing down cars and paperwork.........have 2 here at home and know where there's two more.....have to put new brakes on 5er.....one side done and ordered the other side today.....Titan disc type, but the first stuff not nearly as good as the 'retro' kits they're selling now......to much to do here with all the wet conditions.....thinking if we get gun safes open, we'll be tak'n a trip this summer back to Branson, as there are relatives that live 30 miles away and would like the old family guns ........don't think you can mail them....so, as the cleaning up the mess that was created by the cousin passing, looks like we've got a ton of clean up to do.......one good thing so far thou, is one police officer in the town where the kid lived, parents place, would like to buy the place......so now time to call it a day, and go hug my pillow....

Yup, things gotta get organized after the US is deemed free to wander and maybe even mingle.
It makes sense to me that Wayne can ramrod the selection of dates, as he is nearly kin to the campground folks in Shipshewana. Wayne? Yes?
I’m thinking (yes really!) that into September it might be easier to book reservations.
And, other than a magnificent GC Grand Opening Ceremony, there is WAY too much in the way of FOOD in that town (can you say “buffet”? I knew you could) to make a couple of potlucks be enough.
Opinions requested.
Soooo, I guess we ponder a bit until the cloudscape clears a bit.
If this GC gets a name, will that motivate some ideas?
How about :
The First Ever, Indiana, Shipshewana, Do You Wanna Hava Grand Curiosity?

It doesn't have all the relevant parts of a song. Intro is good. Verse is lacking excitement moving from the Intro. It needs a chorus, bridge and a hook.
Nope! My song is much better.

Bob, if there is a fire arms dealer anywhere near you they can ship it, however Branson is nice. Been there a few times. I'm wondering if firearms to MO is a good idea with Arkansas so close by. Which side do the McCoys live on?

Gonna have a SGC (Shipsewana Grand Curoisty, or, Some Good Company.) We'll be there the 1st week of September but not after the 11th and I don't have any relatives way up there.

Shipsewana Grand Curiosity, or, Some Good Company are both acceptable names and depending on when the final dates are we may get to attend. We have a grandson getting married in that timeline so that overrules attendance if the date gets approved for a mass gathering.
Wayne (regards thermometers) Earlene is definitively the RVMdom Hero.
