With all the late night covert government visitors in that area, maybe we could pull off a heist and get some camo cloth to make Connie disappear into the sunset.

As far as the front porch goes, I am game to pound nails (or drive screws) if that would help. It would behoove Barb to have multi containers of Mint Julip available for thirst quenching etc.

I wonder if one could flush a pipe down far enough to get to below the standing water line way down? Could be great for Barb to have water. Smarty, Homer and Connie could all reside outta sight, outta mind.

p.s. Bob I like the change to your signature.

I agree Bob! And a screen porch will help keep the flies out of Connie. Did I tell you I bought a pink camo Bug Assult gun? You'll have to show me some tricks to improve my kill rate.

I have threatened her spirit many times. I swear she is haunting us.

The laughter and the tears are still an everyday occurrence. Leaving Dateland was tough. I know her spirit resides within me, but talking to her grave seemed to help.

Lily and I are now in the Coconino National Forest about 12 miles northeast of Flagstaff. It is MUCH cooler here! AND !!! There are tall pine trees all around us. The plan is to hang out here until someplace else sounds better.

Glad you found a cooler spot... Much further north, could be snowing...

BTW, we loved the pictures of your AZ Castle & Cactus...

Does the Ranger have a towed base plate and such? It could be a handy dandy all purpose go getting for Barb.
