That picture is more than ugly! Not going to say how much more. It's a good thing he has someone to talk to in the morning when he looks in the mirror.

Wayne, are you positive that he can stand to look at himself? could be why he needs a shave.

I took a little journey to Flagstaff last weekend. Along the way I drove through the black canyon. I love looking at saguaro cactus and they’re everywhere there. Right now they are flowering and have a little crowns on their heads.

Barb et al
These are the two units near the park we are staying at and I think if you could convince Di to travel west she could do these paintings for you without any problems.

Wayne, it can’t be wrong that I like to mimic my elders. Following their examples is only being kind!

Mutant Alert:
For those that follow this big solar event: Here is vital information:
The path of this rare solstice "ring of fire" eclipse is long—it spans across two continents, Africa and Asia, and 14 countries—but it is also very narrow. At its widest, in West Africa, the path is only about 85 km (53 mi) wide. Here, annularity lasts for about 1 minute and 20 seconds.
At the location of Greatest Eclipse, in Uttrakhand, India, near the border of China and Nepal, the magnitude of the eclipse is 0.996 and the width of the path is about 21 kms (13 mi). Annularity here lasts for around 38 seconds.
Is anyone having a mini C there??

The mutants need to celebrate Barb's latest achievement and to me it is a major accomplishment. But I will leave you all in suspense until she posts what she done did; so there.
The vistas around where we are now are breathtaking so I thought I would share a few with you ...
This is the valley the infamous Kettle River Railroad ran through
This little town of Trail was the next stop on Highway 3a as we went south east from Christina Lake
Castlegar BC approaching from the southeast. In two or so miles you drop down off the mountain to cross the bridge into this quaint town.

I suppose the teaser Dennis is referring to is that I got the swamp cooler installed and working inside Connie today. Amazingly, the temperature inside dropped from 91° to 84° in about 30 minutes. Eventually it got down to 78° and increased the humidity indoors significantly. Not bad on a day when the outdoor temperature got up to 109°.
I also installed a pulley above the outdoor half of the unit that makes it MUCH easier to remove and replace the 35# cover without help. That’s especially important since my helpers are weenies and headed north for cooler weather. But I still love them anyway.
